So sad to be present for the final evening at BLT Waikiki. Our meal was excellent; Todd's aloha spirit was just what the evening needed. Very bittersweet for us as we have been celebrating Xmas and New Years at BLT since it opened many years ago. While I'm no fan of the landlords at the Trump Hotel, I loved all the staff at BLT - the amazing popovers, the tuna tartare, the prime steaks, the Kahuku corn - all delicious and beautifully prepared and served in an upscale but not fussy dining room. Kudos to the staff for their extra dose of friendliness towards their guests that made us feel welcome and comfortable. I will miss BLT - they modernized the American steakhouse without cheapening it. And we were made to feel as regulars and friends. Success partnerships are rare - I hope BLT rebounds to even bigger successes.

Have dined here multiple times, always great place, but sadly my server said they were given notice by corporate 2 days ago that today is the last day they are open, and they will be closing forever. Boo corporate!

Love BLT, the staff, the ambiance, and the food, but last night I had a horribly unprofessional server and will be sure to request any of the other wonderful servers except for him in future. He was totally obsequious to my guest and kept addressing him by name, "Mr. H" and me with a brusque "sir" although he knew my name as I made the reservation and was the host. Here are just two examples of his unprofessional behavior, not to mention his surly attitude. I ordered the salmon well done and my guest ordered the rack of lamb medium rare. When the entrees were served he immediately approached the table with "Mr. H" is your rack cooked properly? And then he looked at me and walked away. I got so tired of his "Mr. H" this and "Mr. H" that, that I finally said, my name is "Mr. T" -- something he already knew as I made the reservation. And he just continued with the "Mr. H" and the "sir". Then he did something so outrageous and so unprofessional that I was stunned. It became clear towards the end that he was about to present the check to "Mr. H" which no professional or even newbie server would ever do with out informing and getting permission from the host. I had to speak to the manager to have him reluctantly give me the check. After confirming with the manager that all of BLT's staff share in the tip pool, I left $300 on a $275 check. But I want this server to know that, if not for the tip pool, I would have left zero and slipped the manager $300 to divide amongst the other servers, supports, BT's, and kitchen. I'm not sure what this server's problem was but he was borderline rude to me from the get go. The only thing I can think of is that I am Asian and he and my guest are Caucasian. I hope I am wrong and I would never play the race card but I cannot understand where this experience supposedly professional server was coming from...

Dry over-cooked break un-cleaned shrimp cocktail Way over-cooked steak (and the wrong cut of steak) Also be careful about sitting outside, the gentle drops of water landing on you and your food is not rain, it's from the hotel pool above the restaurant.

We were celebrating my birthday and I wanted to taste a good steak. I got the porterhouse and man did I learn something. I didn't know that a New York and a Fillet come from this same cut. I was in heaven. Also the sides were delicious. I over did it. I didn't want to waste anything or hear it up the next day in a microwave. The waitress Valentina was so nice and the rest of the crew that made sure my drinks were always full and that we were well taken care of. I wish I had more birthdays in a year so we could come back. Also thanks for the birthday surprise.

The BLT Honolulu offered a great dining experience, great food and excellent service. I told them in advance that it was my wife's birthday and the complete staff gave her birthday wishes and we good a special drink and dessert as a surprise on the house. My wife was very happy and I was very thankful upon the special treatment.

Perfect service from Sally! Timing of all courses was perfect! Every dish was properly prepared and delicious! Also loved the lighting and overall ambiance. Nice touch that General Manager did several table touches at the appropriate times. This is truly a world class five star restaurant. Perfection!

Made a reservation and still waited an extra hour I even came 30 minutes early to check in so they knew I was there. The service was excellent, and the food was good but not the accommodations aspect.

We've always had a great experience every time we go to BLT. But last night was by far not the best. 1. 7:30 PM reservation. We got the sat at 8 PM. It's Thanksgiving, so this was not a big deal. 2. All food and drink orders took an hour to come out. Again, it's thanksgiving, so we understand how busy it is. 3. Bone marrow came out and served very cold. You can see the fat becoming hard and white instead of transparent. 4. I ordered " medium " steak, which came out rare. I had to return it twice to get the right temp. Service was excellent, at least. The waiter tried the best he could. Not his fault that the food came out late and was cooked incorrectly.

The food was delicious and the waiter was great! The busboys and bartender were friendly and helpful. I really felt like they appreciated our business.

An excellent experience. The food is incredible and our service from Valentina was personal and detailed. We ordered the beet salad, Brussels, filet and lobster. The portions are large and the steaks prepared perfectly. We appreciated the unexpected birthday dessert. Do not hesitate to book a table, you'll love this place.

Great restaurant! Service was excellent, food was outstanding! Everything about this place was great I highly recommend BLT! Wagyu skirt with the chimichurri sauce was an experience not to be missed. Sally, Ricky, Kyle and Ethan were very attentive servers and deserve raises. ?

Our first visit was not successful. The manager was notified and we were invited back. I want to thank Justin and Katie for their kindness and making sure the next visit was amazing. Ike was the most attentive and gracious waiter. Please ask for him when visiting. The food is good and the drinks were amazing.
