Bob's BBQ has character, a small shop with good food. My brother-in-law was craving meat and they have it. Great pork ribs, beef ribs and chicken. Comes with rice and mac salad. We also had burgers. Crispy bacon made it perfect. The fries were piping hot. Service was nice and efficient. Other customers ordered fish, if we have time before we leave, we csn do another stop.

I wish they would put some effort in cleaning the place. Outside is deplorable. Birds landing on counter where people are ordering. A bird actually flew inside. Birds and chickens everywhere. Can't keep it clean with birds pooping everywhere. Tables are falling apart. Ceiling is patched up. Screens think with dust. My friend wanted to eatin there. I did not order anything. Smells good but wonder what it looks like inside.

Visiting Oahu for a week and have come here four times. The menu has a lot of variety, the burger patties are literally the best I’ve had, and their rice is perfect. I’ve had their loco moco, breakfast plate (the one with Spam), cheeseburger, and katsu pork. All of them were delicious, and I’m genuinely sad to be leaving this island because there’s nothing like Bob’s back home.

The State is tearing up the intersection which Bob’s is directly a corner of and they clean but you might get the same cleanliness you find at a city & county park picnic table with the greenery and local view. It’s my only downer on my 1st visit. The staff were kind and smiling and the food was done well. I had the New York steak combo with scallops.
My steak was perfectly mid rareand the deep fried scallops could’ve use a squeeze of lemon. What I learned while waiting is the beef ribs and pork ribs are supposedly their big deal and the hibachi chicken a winner. So next time I come I’ll plan to try those.

Bob’s is like that one last survivor in an action movie, standing tall while everything else around it is blowing up. While the rest of Dillingham is shut down, crumbling or under construction thanks to the rail project, Bob’s is still here, holding its ground and serving up pure deliciousness. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, with friends and family, and it’s hard to imagine this corner without it.

I heard they're moving further up into Kalihi eventually—still in my old neighborhood, thank goodness. After literally decades, everything still tastes the same. This place is my go-to for Teri cheeseburgers and their amazing mixed plates (kalbi, BBQ chicken & beef). Parking? Still sucks. And the pigeons? They still rule the dining tables like it’s their personal buffet. But hey, it's a small price to pay for a slice of my childhood. Bob’s is a must-stop every time I’m back home!

Best plate lunch we had in Hawaii. 10/10. Food was incredible, price was cheap, outdoor decor was spot on. I don’t think you can get more authentic than this place. Thank you Bob & crew.
