Cute little place for breakfast, not a lot of place for sitting there to eat, good food, some chickens walked around us, that was cute and funny.

Although it's a bit away from central Waikiki, its good location at the foot of Diamond Head means it's a popular destination for Japanese tourists. Although named a café, besides drinks, there are also popular Hawaiian dishes such as fried rice, acai bowls, and Locomoco. The serve is the Hawaiian standard (i.e. a lot for Japanese) and doesn't feel expensive. I think it's a small, clean, easy-to-use shop with no gaps. Depending on the day and time of the week, some staff are fluent in Japanese and are also recommended for families. There are only a few terrace seats, so you may want to take off peak hours if you are after them.

Can't get a free cup of water with my meal after already spending 6.47 + tip for 12 oz of orange juice. They told me it was due to covid requirements, but that's not true.

While visiting Hawaii, I was excited to try different acai bowls. Bogart’s Cafe stood out and was probably the best acai bowl I had during my trip. I liked that it was icy like a sherbet, not watery like some others I tried. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

The employees are very welcoming. We order the acai bowl and loco moco, the food is delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Definitely a place to visit and try out. Highly recommend!

Today, I had ADOBO FRIED RICE with 2 extra eggs and it was simply DELICIOUS!!!
Meaty and tasty

Old review:
I just finished my ADOBO FRIED RICE and all I got was one small piece of meat on the entire plate.
This is the third week in a row I get the same plate ADOBO FRIED RICE and I ask for extra egg. The first time was simply perfect, the second time I noticed less pieces of meat, and today I asked three plates, for me and my co workers, and we wanted 2 extra eggs, but they only send 1 egg.

We stopped at Bogarts for breakfast after completing the 6am hike at Diamondhead based on the recommendation of Erica & Jordan at The Hawaii Vacation Guide and it was the best breakfast we had during our time in Oahu. The walk to Bogarts was perfect - downhill, reasonable distance and accompanied a wide variety of free range chickens that populate the island. We love seeking out the places that locals love and this was perfect. We sat outside, discovered our daughter loves Portuguese sausage (and then proceeded to eat half my breakfast) and enjoyed our first post-flight lattes after being up at 3am. Erica & Jordan definitely got this one right!

Drop in and feel like a local with these tasy grinds. The fish of the day is on point and breakfast is amazing. My favorite was the garlic shrimp fried rice. Cat shoes are not reqired but appreciated.

Phone lines havent been working for 3 weeks! Been trying to do take out for that long and it’s always saying “memory is full”. They need to update that. They’re losing business because people can’t call in their order ahead of time
