Cheers to the manager C.C. and my favorite bartender Brandon, they always make us feel welcome, appreciated and like a million bucks. Everyone needs to feel special and they do a great job. My crew and I always have a ball when we go there. Thanks for the VIP treatment guys,we appreciate you.

Food brought to table was not as described on menu. Seafood Platter says "soft shell crab" There was none on platter. Showed server he said "it does not come on the platter". I told it does.He walked away. I even got a copy of menu with description. (Nothing was done). Ordered 2 drinks $10 and $11 each plus additional itemized charges of $2 each for Red Bull apparently added to each drink.(Rum punch)(tropical Mai Tai) was not aware Red Bull came in those??Good thing no health conditions. They were not busy. For a Saturday 2 couples and a party of 10.Bad service.Bad food. How do they have such a high rating??

So much potential, but it does not live up to a true Mardi Gras - festive atmosphere. More thematic house music and a better job cleaning the restrooms are suggested. The place was not busy even on the weekend night I went. Staff are very nice and friendly so it's tough to add a critique like this.

Aloha all; this place is fairly new as it opened only in the last year or so. I was there for an early event set up by friends. The food we ordered for our party was really good and service was great. They have live bands that play almost every night. It's supposed to be kinda like a retro new orleans theme done bad. But it's still kinda cool and I had a blast with my friends. The club dance floor was open all night but started to get busy about 10pm.Parking: Plenty of parking across the street in the structure. Can't miss it, giant parking sign on far left lane directly across from the establishment

This place was surprising good. I have been to néw orleans and the flavors were very similar. The alligator I haven’t had in a while and the seafood gumbo. They have live music and it was good but it felt strange as they played Hawaiian music in a néw Orleans style restaurant but I get it as this is Hawaii

First stop on the beginning of my weekend off. CeCe, the host, was Super Excellent. My first time here with my daughters. We didnt make reservations as we just wanted to wing it and ty a new spot. Luckily someone didnt show up and CeCe helped us out. She is a ?.. The Food, service and Live Band were a hit. Every song was perfect. The lead singer, all I have to say is WOW!! The alligator was delicious, I couldnt resist. Everyhing was amazibg all night. I had to get on the dance floor cuz it was on fire. You have to check this place out. If you see CeCe, give her a smile and hug as she is the first face you see and know that your evening is about to be lit ?

I came across this restaurant during my search ofBlack owned restaurants in Honolulu. I was immediately greeted by the owner, Beverly, who was warm, welcoming, and even directed me to a cheaper parking garage. The service was great and the menu had something for everyone (I had the prawns and the Cajun pasta). I visit NOLA every year and can say this restaurant is the closest you will come to Bourbon Street in Honolulu!

The food here was so good and the crowd was even better. I had the jambalaya which I did not realize was a shareable option. I tried to eat it all but it was not possible. It was so so so delicious but still not possible to finish and I was there at least 3 hours. My hubby purchased the chicken and fries which was also pretty tasty. I loved the atmosphere here and there music. There was some type of event going on here so they had a nice size crowd. I would love to come back here whenever we visit Honolulu again

Located at the old Mandalay Chinese cuisine on Alakea. Validated parking across the street at the ASB building. We've tried a number of Cajun restaurants in Honolulu and this place is one of our favorites. At night the restaurant is a popular gathering place with live local music. Today we tried their Cajun pasta, jambalaya and chicken and waffles. We finished it off and tried their bignette. So delicious and tasty with hearty portions! My son tried their catfish, gumbo and bread pudding the last time he was there and he said this place does not disappoint. Can't wait to try other menu items!

Was excited to go to Bourbon Street to hear some live music and enjoy some Cajun food. We had reservations for 8:00 on a Saturday night. We were seated right away but that was the only positive about this establishment. We didn't get water or menus for about 15 minutes. When we got the menus, it was a vey condensed menu and not the one on their website. On top of that, they were out of the majority of the dishes. We ended up getting Cajun fries and coconut shrimp. Our drinks took about 30 minutes to arrive and our food took about an hour. So disappointed. They need to make major improvements or I really don't see this place being in business for very long.

Meet some friends downtown for lunch and this was a close place to their work. It was 11:40 when I got there and there was no one else seated in the restaurant except us. It continued that way until halfway when three people sat on the table near us but they were waiting for takeout. I ordered the shrimp and grits since I have eaten many in South Carolina. I was pleasantly surprised at how great the sauce was with shrimp and sausage. The sauce was creamy with just the right amount of flavor, much of it coming from the sausage. The sausage chunks were small and the shrimp a decent size. The added sweet potato chips and fried kale were great additions. We ordered beignets at the end to share and I wasn't really wowed by it. Maybe the oil wasn't hot enough but it tasted like an undercooked puff pastry. When leaving I asked about validating parking in the bishop square. They said they only validate after 5 pm but that really isn't useful when there is a flat $5.75 fee to park there. I could only park my high SUV in that garage. Alii place parking was too low but definitely more economical because my parking was $12 for 1.5 hours.

If you ever get a craving for Creole cuisine here, you're kinda out of luck because Hawaii falls short in choices. Oooooh...New Orleans--I've been there, and noshed on some of the best food that town offers. The other weekend, the crew found Bourbon Street on Yelp. I mean, really, if you're gonna name your restaurant after the crazy-famous street in New Orleans--like, holy crap--it better serve food that takes me back there! We ordered the Seafood Jambalaya, the Flash Fried Brussels Sprouts, the Shrimp Po'Boy, and the Beignets. The only real regret was getting the second item--the Brussels sprouts were burnt tasting and almost unidentifiable...a definite NO! The jambalaya was seafood heaven, but could've used a taaaaaaad more Cajun flavor--still delish, nonetheless. The Po'Boy was oh-boy yummy--the shrimp was plump and made almost a "pop" sound when bitten into! And the beignets were no "Cafe Du Monde," but pleasant enough--make sure you eat them hot or you'll be left with some lifeless, bland fried dough. Street parking sucked on a Saturday night. Would've loved a 10-minute stall for a quick pick-up but, oh well, that's downtown for ya! Still hoping for other Creole restaurants to open up on Oahu...but until then, Bourbon Street will do!!

I saw all these reviews on Yelp and decided I wanted to try Bourbon Street. I never had New Orleans-style cuisine so this was a new experience for me. The menu is very extensive and has a ton of foods. I noticed on the physical menu the "po boys" weren't listed so I asked the server. She said it was available so I ordered a fried chicken po boy. When the dish came out it was piping hot and smelled so good. The po boy was served with a side of Cajun fries. It was so delicious. My sandwich was so thick that I took out some fried chicken pieces so I could make it smaller. The fries are nicely seasoned and crisp so it compliments the sandwich well. I didn't even finish my food so I asked for a box to take my fries home. These fries are worth saving! During my meal the owner Beverly came out and greeted my table. She was so nice and sweet. I felt so welcome in the restaurant. I saved room for dessert and got a cheesecake and beignets. The cheesecake was nicely balanced with walnuts and fruit. It's a very filling cake so I would split it among the table. The beignets though... wow it looks so cute. I like how light it tastes. It's not too doughy either. I would love to come back and try all the other foods one day... it was such a fun dining experience.
