I would easily recommend a lot of things on the menu but would highlight the Sashimi and the grilled sea bass. The environment is also very comforting with a cozy vibe and very friendly people
This is my first time here but my friend who live in Chinatown and Kauaʻi always meet here when they have time to hang out. Lot of Izakaya menu and the dish I like the most is Grilled stingray (Eihire) which refers to the dried and lightly grilled fin of the stingray, typically served with Japanese mayonnaise, shichimi-pepper. I never try this dish before, and I couldn't find this menu in NYC. All food is super fresh and good quality; the restaurant is busy all the time....
Decided to give this restaurant a try with friends from out of town. I was fortunate to get a table for 4 at 8pm just by calling earlier the same day, and the establishment was full when we arrived. We didn't mind waiting a couple of minutes while they set our table since popularity is a good sign. We did not hesitate to order whichever looked good to us from the extensive menu. Every dish tasted great, and a couple of them ordered based on recommendation by our server, also...
