This one of my best loved places in Honolulu/Kaimuki! I've been going there for years and recommend reservations as they are popular. They have great food,drinks, service and atmosphere. The pizza, pasta, appetizers and deserts are all amazing! My son always orders pizza and if I don't get the Sals Bolognese Pappardelle I usually get the meatball appetizer with a Caesar salad. This time I switched to the clams appetizer with the salad and it did not disappoint me. Love, love, love this place!

Food and service never disappoint. We had pizzas (which were amazing) and also tried the risotto with asparagus and clams. Highly recommend, it was delicious. Cannoli and cheese cake were perfect end to a great meal.

Waiter was not attentive to our food being delivered accordingly to the table as they came out significantly later than other tables who arrived nearly 15 mins after us to which they seemed to have received our meal. Water was not refilled until asked twice. We've been here many times and have never received this type of service.
We are regulars at BF. Everything is amazing. They have the best Italian on island. The service is amazing - they are warm and attentive. We are just grateful they're in our neighborhood so we can go often!

Went on Fathers Day 2025. Staff was incredibly hospitable. Pizza's are a bit pricey for what you get. A 12” pie cut into 6 slices. But the flavor of fresh ingredients is absolutely in every bite! Second time I have been here and will definitely be back!
