Visiting from San Diego and in our 9 day vacation, we came to eat here twice. Their pizzas are some of the best we've ever eaten and their pistachio cheesecake was delicious as well!

We're visiting from Los Angeles, and our hotel recommended Brick Fire Tavern — what a great suggestion! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Bolognese pasta with one meatball — an excellent choice. The sauce was a little different from what we're used to, creamier in texture, and the portion was just right for sharing. We also split the Brick Fire Margherita pizza — the crust was perfectly crisp, and the ingredients were spot-on. The Caesar salad was classic, with crushed breadcrumbs instead of the usual croutons, which added a nice touch. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was friendly, attentive, and upfront about a slight delay in the kitchen when we first arrived, but once our food started coming, everything flowed smoothly. They have a great wine selection and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. All in all, we give Brick Fire Tavern a solid five stars!

Food was great! Hot and delicious! Salad was great too. It was busy and we were seated by the waitstaff station so it was a bit noisier than other areas but to be expected. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Happy to find another great Kaimuki eatery!

The food and ambience was great. The service experience was a little off this time from all the other visits. I would definitely go back again hoping for better service, as I felt rushed our dishes were being pulled without being asked with food still on it.

This is one of my favorite go-to places. I like the casual atmosphere and the friendly, young waitstaff. It's a great place for shared plates. Especially because there are so many good things to order. We always share a pasta dish and a pizza. If we're hungry we add in an appetizer. The pistachio cheese cake is a nice dessert, as are the house made ice creams.

We went hoping to order the miso garlic shrimp pizza, but it was no longer in the menu. This is the first time I've had to make reservations for a pizza place, but they were booked solid the previous weekend.

Beautiful ambience, quiet, and comfortable. We struggled to find parking in the area due to their lot being full. The hosts were friendly and overall the staff appeared to be happy and friendly but the service was absolutely terrible. A server never came over and we sat at our table empty handed for quite some time. It wasn't until a larger table was sat beside us we were finally given water (after them) despite being there a while. I sympathized for the girl because it appeared this server was their most experienced and was the only one running around actually working while all the other servers sat around chatting. We watched as servers promptly greeted and watered their tables as well as inform them of the specials we had no clue about. We literally had to tell them we wanted appetizers and want to order because no one was coming over despite us looking around aimlessly. The food was dropped off without a word, barely room temperature, and I never had the chance to order a glass of wine, it wasn't until we were well OVER halfway done did a server come over and ask if she could get me something to drink. The few times a server came over it was always a different one. There is absolutely no excuse for service as such with a staff to customer ratio like there was tonight. I am a server myself and have never treated guest as such, I take pride in serving and like to experience good service as well as tip very well when given the chance but this was just unbelievable. I have been here a few times in the past and was pleased with the overall experience hence why I recommended it for dinner. I am hoping it was just an off night but I hope no one has a similar experience.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. We were seated promptly for a 7:15p. dinner reservation. Drink orders were taken and served swiftly. The pâté appetizer was quite good and the portion was quite large. Unfortunately it was served with only two pieces of bread where four would have been better. The server did offer more bread seeing that there was still quite a bit of pâté left after eating the first two pieces. It was appreciated. The pizza was delivered relatively quickly but was unfortunately not the one ordered. It was offered complimentary while the proper pizza was prepared. It also came out quickly so I assume it was a mix up with the kitchen or food runner. Hopefully another diner was not inconvenienced. Pizzas were both tasty. The texture was more chewy than crisp. I prefer the latter but enjoyed it nonetheless. I found the toppings, especially the pepperoni to be somewhat sparse, perhaps that's a Neapolitan thing, but I was expecting it to be more bountiful. After two pizzas, dessert was not an option but the choices looked promising. Perhaps next time. All in all it was a good dining experience and offers a better more authentic Italian style pizza than can be had elsewhere on the island.

This is a must-visit spot every time I go to Oahu. Everyone I’ve recommended it to has said the same thing—it’s always delicious. From pizza and pasta to the meatballs, every single dish is outstanding. It’s already so popular that you can’t usually get a table at dinner without a reservation, but it’s still a place I want more people to know about. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the whole experience is close to perfect.
We went here when it first open and they were happy to accommodate us even though our reservations were for a later time. The staff were very friendly and explained their menu to us. We ordered a salad (Ceasars), a pasta(Bolognese), & 2 pizzas(OGFunghi, Prosciutto E Rucola) for the 4 of us. The food was delicious! We also ordered some drinks which were also great. They helped us celebrate our friend's birthday with some free vanilla ice cream! We had a wonderful time there. Would definitely go back there.

We sat at the bar and watched John whip up a tasty mojito, and enjoyed clams in a pesto sauce with fresh bread from bread shop. So Ono! The Mama Mia pizza that followed, with a chopped salad made a perfect meal. We even dipped our pizza in the pesto sauce—it was that good!
