Great option for coffee on Merchant convenient but it is pricey and tends to be noisy and small area for seating so there are limitations.

I wasn't to happy with my experience there. I had passed the location before and decided to give it a try. After ordering, I was rather rudely told that they were closing soon and made to feel like I would take my order to go. Although I am not a the type to stay long and tend to drink and go, found that the delivery of the closing message was rather rude.

I wasn't to happy with my experience there. I had passed the location before and decided to give it a try. After ordering, I was rather rudely told that they were closing soon and made to feel like I should take my order to go. Although I am not a the type to stay long and tend to drink and go quickly, I found that the delivery of the closing message was rather unprofessional and discourteous. My order was for a Con Panna. I am not sure if the whipped cream was sour or if the espresso was not drawn properly, but the taste was very acidic and not enjoyable at all. Hard to say if it was the barista or the bean that ruined it. So I finished quickly as normal and they had started locking up, but when I looked around, all the same people who were already seated with their coffees were casually taking their sweet time with no hurry to leave. Guess the message from the time of my order was not to be like the rest of the crowd. Doubt I will give them a second try.

Got one of the coffee selections from verve under the steampunk section for the menu. The cup of coffee was excellent. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a good pour over.

Located next to Edibles on Bishop St next to the Century building, it's a small but super cute coffee place, great service and yummy lattes, I hate to say they are closing on the 26th of November. I was just getting used to go here after getting lashes done. I wish them well...

I think it’s one of the best coffee in Oahu. Wish it is open on weekends.

Great place, service was the best, but tables need to be cleaned more often

A locally owned coffee shop in downtown Honolulu that serves excellent coffee and brewed teas with friendly baristas. The baristas greet you when you walk in and they thank you when you leave. Brue Bar is open Monday to Friday and cater mostly to the downtown crowd. The shop has a nice ambiance; warm lights, soft music playing in the background, and coffee smells. This is also a great place to "coffice" because they have a lot of tables and stools. If you happen to have a print job, HONBLUE can help you out. They share this space with Brue Bar.

Better than Starbucks!

I've been enjoying coming here for years. They have some of the best espresso on the island. On top of that, their cold brew is smooth and flavorful. In my mind, if a coffeeshop can get these two staples right, it's a top shop. They offer a variety of different beans for pour-overs (another plus) and loose-leaf teas. I can't speak for their other drinks, although they seem to maintain a quality with everything they serve. There's ample seating and tables. It's located in the business district of the city, so don't expect to find parking unless you're willing to pay. There is a bathroom available in the building. I also enjoy the occasional perks they offer via email. I'd love if they served a nitro cold brew option (as they did in some of their old locations). Anyway, can't beat this place for sipping on some great espresso while getting work done or meeting someone. It's by far the best coffeeshop in the downtown Honolulu area.
