So many delicious options to choose from whether you want breakfast, dessert, or breads. Chocolate croissant and mochi donuts are amazing.

Brug Bakery offers authentic Japanese bread along with both sweet and savory pastries—perfect for grabbing something extra later in the day (lol). Their offerings are so cute and beautifully presented, it’s hard to choose just one. I recommend coming as early as possible to get your favorites before they sell out. The staff is always super friendly, making every visit a pleasure.

I usually love this place and it’s been about a year since my last visit. The baked goods are ono and are beautifully presented. On my visit today, I had pastrami and bacon on fluffy bread. When I walked in though, it seemed like the shop was less “on point” than usual. It was after 4 pm so it’s understandable that there are fewer offerings. It was surprising to see a big fly in one case, and in the sections with 1 or 2 of like items left, they looked kind of worked over.
It was just so surprising to see the shop not looking its best after coming so many times when it looked impeccable.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
If you go around 6pm on a Friday, I don't think you'll be able to get the bread you want. I couldn't see the variety of breads that I had seen in the pictures, and there were a lot of empty places... The bread design seemed to be somewhere between Korea and America, but it was still nice to see familiar breads. I bought about 5 pieces of 3 different types of bread and paid about $20. I think the price of bread was usually around $4, and the basic bread without anything was a little cheaper, but it was around $3. I came home and ate two loaves of bread that I bought, and I thought I wouldn't fail if I bought Paris Baguette's bread instead of the bread that you can easily find and buy in the US.

Was the only person that entered. They either had a long day or they have terrible customer service. There was a few people who were there before I entered and they left with their stuff bagged and were treated well. I had to hand carry my stuff and was practically ignored until payment…..

sometimes the older ladies who work here are pretty dismissive of me because I look young which is kind of a turn off since they're usually nicer to other older customers. a couple of times I wasn't even greeted and met with blank stares after greeting them.but their donuts and pastries are pretty good.
Parking: parking in front of the store is chaotic but I just alway park further away and walk.

We love BRUG Bakery! They are also great supporters of Manoa School!
Tasty Japanese-style patisserie/bakery. matcha sweet potato bun was soft and the right level of lightly sweet. Savory spinach cheese pastry was a good snack with flaky, buttery laminated pastry dough. high quality for the price.
At a fairly affordable price (if your not ordering a lot) and great quality, this is one of my favorite lunch places in Manoa Marketplace. Make sure not to buy a ton as it can get quite costly and the food is very rich and you may feel ill. I would totally recommend this!
