Generous portions of local favorites and excellent coffee.
A cute little mom and pop shop. The food is incredible. The server however was super rude, inattentive, and unwelcoming to my partner and I. A stark contrast to how he treated the people sitting right next to us and the tables behind us as well. I wonder if it’s because we’re clearly not locals…. or because we’re not white or asian. His bad vibes and energy when it came to us specifically was very noticeable.
It’s unfortunate because the first time we came here years ago, the server was so kind, gave us lots of suggestions on where to go/what to do on the island, and made our experience so great, we wanted to return.
This server however did the complete opposite.
Like any good local places a little waiting Delicious breakfast and good attentive customer service.
Lunch meet up with friends. Great selections and many healthy options, as well as breakfast menu items are available all day. Five of us dined for $100.
I had the paniolo steak sandwich, it was fantastic. My husband had the Kaila Salad and daughter had the breakfast bagel sandwich.
Service was excellent, our server was attentive but not over bearing. Food came out quick and everyone enjoyed their choices.
We visited this place for breakfast today with a 4 and 7 year old. Food is amazing and very warm service and staff. Kids loved the waffles and pancakes. We could customize the waffles and pancake dish to suit vegetarian options too and substitute the bacon with fruits.
Avocado toast with homemade bread and pickled onions was very tasty. Unfortunately we found this place a day before leaving or would’ve certainly gone there multiple times on the trip!

Came to the store after 11:00 am on Saturday. I was lucky that there was no waiting list! The restaurant was full, but since I was there alone, I informed the staff and they immediately guided me to a counter seat. I ordered pancakes with strawberries on top. Super fluffy and the dough is delicious! Whipped cream and something like maple syrup are each served in a cup. They also served butter (3 pieces) in a cup. The whipped cream is not too sweet and goes well with the pancakes. I couldn't finish one piece so I had to take it out. The staff at the shop talked to me and took care of me from beginning to end, and I had a wonderful time.

We visited and ate here back in September and had a pleasant surprise. We ate brunch around 11am, there was a sign in table outside of the door and a 10-15 minute wait to get inside. The service was spectacular and the food was even better. The avocado toast was the best I have ever tasted. Everything we tried was just SO flavorful. If you’re ever in the area this is the place to go!

Came here for my birthday brunch, it wasn't the first choice based on some reviews but because it was open after church, this is where we ended up. I'm so glad we did. They make everything in house. Hubby ordered the chicken and waffles. Waffle was crisp and light. Ample juicy fried chicken breast, and the maple syrup was good, but could have used a bit more cayenne for more kick. I ordered the avocado toast combo with a poached egg and Portuguese sausage. The focaccia was super tender and light and just crispy on the outside. The egg was perfection and the pickled onions made the dish sing. Also ordered the blueberry cream cheese scone, also made in house. Scone was so soft
and tender, very delicious. So all in all a fantastic birthday breakfast. The staff was so helpful in recommending good options and quick on refills and coffee. Food came out pretty quickly too. I'll be back and highly recommend it to anyone.

Ordered a cafe latte, beefsteak, and loco moco.
The seasoning of the steak was too light and subtle. I started eating it with ketchup on it halfway through. Bread was provided with the rice and it was mysteriously high in carbohydrates.
However, the loco moco was delicious! The gravy sauce was rich, almost like curry, and went well with the rice, so I ate it all at once, probably because I was tired after returning from Diamond Head. Most of the seasonings in America tend to be too strong and I've never had a good experience with them, but I highly recommend the loco moco here.

We came here just when they opened on a weekday after dropping off our daughter. Breakfast is always excellent here, and the service is friendly.
We got french toast and waffles, but honestly, everything we order from here is delicious.
This has become our new breakfast spot on the few times we are both able to drop off my daughter!
