Food and service are always great. Tiny place and usually packed. Street parking or they have parking behind building never been.
The portions were huge and what stands out is the hospitality!!! The owner and serves are really friendly and welcoming:)
Food was super delicious and high quality. Parking is a little tricky, but definitely worth the trip!
Food is delicious
My favorite Indian food on the island! Consistently great service and food
The naan was super delicious. I recommend trying this place out. Prepare for a 20-30 minute wait since this place is popular. There’s parking in the back.
Overall Great food, great experience. If you want a good seat get there in line before they open. Seating is limited due to small dining area. Expect a wait if you get there past opening. You will need to find parking around the area.
If you have a Pakistani or Indian palate, this restaurant may not meet your expectations. I visited with friends & ordered the Vegetable Biryani (since the chicken/ meat aren’t halal), Aloo Paratha, and Chaat. While the portion sizes are generous, the food lacked authentic flavor and didn’t quite hit the mark.
The service was decent, though the food took a while to arrive during peak hours. Unfortunately, the overall quality didn’t make up for the wait. If you're craving real desi food in Honolulu, I wouldn’t recommend this spot.
A nice Indian spot in the heart of Honolulu. Went with my friend ordered dinner for 2. We got eggplant appetizer which was very addictive 😂 and two entries one of butter chicken and one of the ginger chicken it has a ethnic name but I can't remember. Is good. We both ate a big meal and left with 2 set of leftovers so it was worth it the price.

There is a long wait most days but the food is always fresh so it is worth it. You don't have the option of choosing how spicy, however; they have a sign with explanation. Their Veggie samosas are amazing. Their bread is delicious. If you don't eat meat, the chana masala is so good. We usually get paratha plain or stuffed. My hubby is vegetarian and suggests all of the naan!
Long wait but still worth it. Food quantity is great. Staffs are respectful. Once you are seated, food comes faster. This restaurant is always full so have some time to visit and enjoy.
Delicious food! Great service!
Lovely atmosphere, terrible service, food tasted okay but we felt sick after.
We arrived at 6pm on Friday. Asked to put our name on a list and when I asked how long, the guy was super rude to me and couldn't give me a guess. It was an hour and fifteen minutes.
If the food was great and the service great, we would have been fine. But the service was terrible. They took 15+ min to take our order, they served others who arrived after us before us, we ordered lassis as did two other tables - they got theirs before ours. The food was medium. We had to wait and flag down our server whenever we wanted anything.
We got the vegetarian platter (samosas were decent), paneer Tikka masala (a diff take on this, the sauce was okay but the paneer didn't have the best texture), two different curries (nothing exceptional), some lassis. The breads were decent.
The worst part was, both my partner and I felt sick the next morning. I didn't think it was the food until I had leftovers later that day and felt sick after again. Not sure if it was just too heavy or what.
If you are staying in Waikiki, you are probably about done with overpriced, touristy food and are wishing you knew of a place to go that offers tasty food at a fair price in a vibrant setting. Look no more. There’s a wait for a table at this small restaurant located near the U of H district just up the street from the beach about 1.5 miles from Waikiki. The service is prompt and friendly and the other customers are good natured and convivial-showing us their food choices and sharing smiles! My guy is skeptical of adventurous dining and likes a meat heavy meal, so we ordered the Tandoori party platter and the chicken masala curry with garlic naan. Tandoori can be tricky, often it is dried out or too tough, but all four meats were tender and flavorful. Served with three sauces, we ate through this appetizer in no time. The chicken masala was rich and creamy with hints of spice but not enough to scare away my dining partner. The naan was piping hot! We couldn’t eat all of our shared entree and lamented the lack of microwave at our hotel. With two waters, our final bill was less than $50.
A little ding on atmosphere for the odd bathroom experience.
