Whatever you do skip this place… they dont want your business anyhow.. left 2 handicap people standing then asked us to leave despite having 6 empty tables.. while being stuck waiting the food we saw looked awful…. With so many great choices in waikiki for ramen… dont pick this one

The pork had a weird after taste that spoiled the broth which was unfortunate because the broth had an awesome taste at the beginning

This little ramen place has the best broth! We got kimchi and cucumber appetizers, and two kinds of ramen. The meat, we had both pork and chicken, was so so but the broth was absolutely delicious and made this absolutely worth it. Would definitely go back.

Our visit to Camado ramen was frustrating from start to finish. It started with being served unsolicited alcoholic drinks we never ordered, which were mistaken for water with lemon. When we realized the mistake, we told the staff we didn’t want them and explained why. Staff didn't even apologize for the error. In fact we apologized to them for accepting the drinks as they looked just like water with lemon a couple of times. Instead of apologizing for the error, the drinks were just taken away without a word in a very rude way, let alone an acknowledgment of the inconvenience. This dismissive attitude set the tone for the rest of the night.
The food was equally disappointing. The ramen came with only two thin slices of pork, and the rest was just plain noodles. In the pictures it looks like good enough pork meat but the pork slices were very very thin. The noodles were thin and perfectly cooked. For the price, it was underwhelming and not worth it at all. To make matters worse, I found a hair buried in the noodles. I was holding the hair and talking to my husband. We were almost finished with the ramen at that time. So I didn't want to send the food back. Right then the staff walked by and took the hair with him. There was no response for some time and later his response was dismissive and borderline accusatory. He first came and said the hair doesn't match our staff members. 3 of the staff members had long dark hair. The kitchen staff were visibly working without hairnets. He then came to us to give the check and suggested it might be my hair.
Throughout the evening, there was no effort to apologize or acknowledge the multiple inconveniences. The staff’s lack of professionalism, coupled with poor food hygiene practices, ruined the experience entirely.

The only vegan option is the Vegan tantanmen ramen. But there’s no vegan protein, which is disappointing. It’s so common to have inari as a topping, so it was strange that it wasn’t on the menu. The broth wasn’t that flavorful, but the noodles were nice and chewy. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-02

Gyoza came burnt but not from sear but from a dirty pan and left black grease on the plate. Beer was warm and slightly flat. Noodles need to be washed from more starch as it completely changes the texture of the ramen soup. If you get extra noodles it makes it more obvious and the bowl inedible.

1 ⭐ food - $18 tonkatsu for $2 worth of ingredients (2 thin pieces of pork)
1 ⭐ service - Don't call for pickup, they don't answer. Order in person and wait and still your food is cold
This place is in business only because it is the only late night ramen in waikiki.

I hesitated after reading the Korean comments below, but they only seated us in the far corner and there was a disgusting smell from the table. It seems like they intentionally guide Koreans to smelly places separately. I couldn't stand the smell so I left the store right away.
Koreans, don't go here

To begin the people there are really nice. I am an American, my culinary experience with Japanese food is extremely limited but I always wanted to try ramen, takoyaki, and gyoza. It was late and I was hungry so I thought I would give this place a try. Everyone was very welcoming, unfortunately I don’t know if it’s the norm but my food was very strong smelling, so strong that it turned my stomach and I could barely touch the food. Once again I’m unsure if that’s just me having no experience with Japanese cuisine or not.

Food gave my husband and I stomach aches and we felt nauseous after eating this food. Wasn’t a pleasant after taste either.

Great ramen and open late. Flew into Honolulu late from Maui on a Saturday and was able to get some great ramen and saki at 11pm. Definitely recommend sitting at the bar
