We had a good time there . Food was good and server was good too but host seated is corner the end and very small space next to the band. We order 3 appetizers and 2 entrees. Table was small so we didn't order drink. Maybe they think we won't tip because I'm Japanese?
The food that we ordered was too cold. Especially cold steak was awful. Very disappointing.
They made a birthday dinner very special! The drinks were good and the food even better. I would definitely go again.
Some of ythe food was good and some was just average. thr chocolate ma pie was superb, and so was the ffreshly cooked rye b read. The waitress was sweet, attentive, and on the ball. th music was a bit too noisy and some of the entrees were just do-so
Average food! Pricey for what it was view would have been amazing had we not been sat at a table in front of scaffolding.
We had a great time, we ordered prime rib , baked potato, shrimp cocktail, clam chowder, all were superb. Waitress was efficient and friendly . The manager came around and chatted with us. Just a excellent experience..
We had an outstanding experience with excellent service from our waiter. We've been coming to Chart House for over 15 years, and I was curious how the recent renovation might affect the ambiance. We were delighted to see that while the space feels refreshed, it has retained its classic touches and charm. The view is still as beautiful as ever, and the atmosphere remains relaxed yet elegant—perfect for a date night or for gathering with family and friends. My wife and I first came here when we were dating, and now, with two daughters (ages 6 and 2), it's even more special to enjoy it together as a family. Keep up the great work, Chart House—we're already looking forward to our next visit
Primarily- was not aware it was not very accessible for walker or wheelchair. Bathrooms were downstairs with stair access. Nice staff, helpful little busy that night.
Sunday brunch was really great. Nice ocean/ harbor view . Lunch was good. With nice service , Kamaaina discount , free mimosa with our meal!!
We have dined at several Chart House locations. Each one we have really enjoyed, except this one. We arrived early for our reservation, and the restaurant was mostly empty. We were seated far away from the water view, but we still had a water view. Until, each time the servers had a break, they parked themselves right in front of our view. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. I ordered the stuffed shrimp dinner entree, and the meal was over cooked. I would not recommend this place. It seemed to cater to locals more so than tourists

Our server was great! Very attentive and the food came out quick too so props to the runners & expo chef. The quality of the food has really gone down since the new owners unfortunately. Maybe it was just rushed happy hour food but the wagyu sliders.. not wagyu & very lackluster. They could be done up with more than a piece of lettuce. The fried zucchini wasn't battered correctly so the breading fell off & just wasn't a good product. I'd expect chart house to hold themselves to higher standards than serving those with RANCH. what happened to the classy environment there? The crab cakes are awesome though they created a cheap alternative to a crab cake. Should be called crab poppers. Good nonetheless! Really enjoyed the kimchi calamari, which I believe is new. & finally the French onion soup was 1/2 cheese, lacking broth. I miss the old French onion soup but maybe I had the bottom of the barrel. Also.. the drink menu sucks now! They got rid of all the classics of the old owners! No banana banshee, all juice in mojitos, just , not as good. Would I go back? Sure, for what I enjoyed. Probably wouldn't risk a steak by the lower quality of the food but maybe a seafood dish.
Great atmosphere, food is fantastic!! Live music was so fun!! Highly recommend and service is exceptional!
Awesome food, stuffed mushrooms and garlic chicken were great, and dragon fruit mojito was tasty. Excellent service and nice tunes from the band playing.
This restaurant has been around for a lot of years and over those years. We've enjoyed many meals. This location is old and probably in need of renovation. The food was good and nicely presented. Prices were competitive for the area.
Overrated old restaurant. Scaffolding adjacent to our open air table. Railing adjacent was filthy. Carpet was filthy throughout the restaurant. Bathroom filthy. The food was good but overpriced. My wife ordered a glass of red Zinfandel. They brought white Zinfandel. The bar server inexplicably brought the bottle man of white zin over to “prove” that she was right. We had to get the red from another server. That wine was corked and gone bad. We sent it back and asked for a cab. They re poured the red zin. Same wine. We gave up. They would not take it off the bill. Children were allowed to run wild thru the restaurant. We won't be back
