It was alright. I got the Hojicha Milk Tea with boba at 50% sweet. The hojicha flavor came through nicely, and the bobas were pretty good. The main gripe for me related to the size:price ratio. The “small”size here seems to be approximately equivalent to the “regular” at other boba places, but it’s appears to be a bit smaller than expected while being slightly more expensive than usual. I guess that’s what happens when you get boba in Kahala.
After walking pass on many occasions, I finally succumbed to the temptation and tried a drink here. Although the drink was good, the customer service needs improvement BIG TIME! The person assisting at the register appeared to not want to be there and seemed bothered by customers coming toward the counter.
The classic milk tea with boba was quite good. Props for the warm boba, so you know it's fresh. The tea was quite tasty but not quite a strong enough tea flavor like I prefer. Also, I ordered half sweetness but it was still a little too sweet. Overall a great choice for a drink at the mall.
