Cost performance is quite high. It depends on the menu, but if you take cost into consideration when ordering, I think you will be highly satisfied given the current weak yen. You can enjoy the feeling of a Japanese izakaya.

Although it is Japanese style, you can enjoy delicious dishes that have a somewhat exotic feel. The staff could speak Japanese, so it was easy to ask for help even if I wasn't good at English.

The customer service here is terrible. The food I ordered took forever to arrive. After waiting for 30 minutes, I asked a Japanese man cooking at the front counter, “Is my udon ready yet?” He replied, “This is a sushi restaurant. I don’t know anything about udon. Ask someone else.” I couldn’t believe what I heard. I’ve never had such a bad dining experience before. I couldn’t even enjoy the food—it was completely overshadowed by how unpleasant the experience was.

I read the bad reviews first just to have another point of view prior of my visit.
Obviously all this review are points of views and I respect that. My personal experience in this place was awesome, I found this place really tasty and delicious. Of course I get my favorite California Roll and I request unagi Sauce, the amount was very generous, I get a Salmon avocado roll, mmmm very very delicious, if my first time trying this one. My friend he get a lot of food. I don’t know what he get but he eat everything ?
If I go to Waikiki I definitely I can stop by because the location is at the entrance of Waikiki. I don’t know if they have parking just because I don’t drive so is something to check is some visit this place and arrive by car

I stumbled onto this place by accident, and let me tell you, this is the best Izakaya place I've encountered since Japan. The place is definitely Japanese-owned and japanese-staffed. I felt the nostalgia when I was in Japan. Definitely try their happy hour after 9pm as well! So good!!!!
Absolutely top tier, the secret is to come for the 9-close happy hour, but the daily specials are also incredible if you want to pay full price.

I honestly don't know why I didn't review this place when we originally went two years ago based on the recommendation of local brewers.
We returned last Tuesday after flying out from California to elope. We landed late in the morning, went and bought our rings and matching shirts to get married in, and then ended our night at the best late night happy hour on the island!
We went because we remember it being incredible two years ago, but I do not remember being as good as it was this time! Every item that we ordered was just beyond amazing, and the service is impeccable!
