My neighbor and I were just doing some errands when we became hangry, and there were plenty of choices in the Pearl Highlands Center but chose to take a chance here. We didn’t have expectations but whatever they were, this place surpassed them! The food was so ono. I ordered the truffle fries and yum chicken & she ordered the brisket fries. With a name like yum chicken I thought ‘yeah. Okay’ but when I bit into it…. I was like Yeah! Okayyy 🤤 I did feel like the chicken and fries together were a bit salty but they have other delicious sides to balance it out. My neighbor from Texas says the brisket was spot on with a tomato base and good amount of spice 🌶️

I keep going back to this place because I love their food. It's a very small place in a indoor food court.

Truffle burger had me ordering another one to go. What more can I say? They make some **** good food.

The reviews hyped up the nachos and rightfully so!!! Soo good and I also ordered the brisket fried noodles. Would have been a five star but it took me a minute to get utensils for my food. Think it was only one server but he did well for such a large crowd.

Came in today we were sat fast got our drinks and ordered our food . I got the spicy garlic shrimp with Mac cheese corn and steamed rice . The Mac cheese corn is literally macaroni pasta some mayo some mozzarella cheese and corn ..it’s an acquired taste . My hunny got the brisket plate with fries and mashed potatoes . Mine was about $26 because of my choice of side his was about $36 bc choice of sides . The portions were small for the price of the plates and my spicy shrimp wasn’t spicy but the flavor was decent . Shrimps were pretty big. Our bill came out to $71 for 2 plates 1 soda and a shave ice . I don’t think we’d be returning but I’d tell people to try it if they’re curious BUT only because they’d get good service .

"Texas" style brisket was not very tender but most any day with brisket is better than not. The chicken was crispy and delicious. There was enough to share the plate with someone else

My wife and I stopped by on a Wednesday morning right after opening. I ordered the truffle burger with some garlic fries and she got the loco moco which are things we regularly order at other restaurants. I can honestly say for both of us it was one of the best meals we've ever had. I've eaten brisket all over the south including out in the hill country in Texas and and this is the only place on the island I've found that flavor.

The classic chicken plate is the way to go. They changed to boneless thighs, which isn’t a bad thing. Somewhere along the way they lost the seasoning on the chicken. It doesn’t taste the same. It’s still a strong “should to try”, but not the “must have” event it was last year. The sides are still solid. I’m bummed they no longer serve the cornbread. The Lilikoi habanero sauce is a must try but not for the faint of heart.

I spent about $50 for 2 plates plus and left cash tip. Counter person said it would be about 15 mins. Finally got order after a half hour. Ordered extra onions for $2 on one plate. When I got home there was barely a slice of onions plus no forks or knives. The ground brisket had tough pieces of meat in it.
For that kind of money I don’t plan on going back.

really good place and fair prices as well. one of the owners served us and he was so nice! we got the baller bento for two adults and the wings, perfect amount of food. even our sons cheeseburger sliders were seasoned perfectly.
we’ll definitely be back again.
