Ordered through Uber and Received the Hangover Soup… had one piece of meat in the whole soup- I think in Korea this restaurant would not survive. I’ve had plenty of hangover soups in Seoul and Busan and I think this would be a joke! Not worth $20 lol- picture

We ordered short rib soup but got knee soup instead. The young man waiter insisted it was short ribs… well we are 3 adults not toddlers that can be fooled. It’s super easy to tell the difference. We also have to ask for water otherwise it’s not going to come.. we visited at night when there were only another 2 tables.. terrible service

Chogajip is one of those late-night, old-school Korean spots in Honolulu. It’s not trendy or polished, but it fills a very specific role: big portions, strong flavors, and comfort food when you want something heavy and spicy.
If you grew up eating Korean soups or want something closer to Korean ajumma-style cooking rather than modern Korean fusion, this place makes sense.

This place is as authentic as it gets.
My husband and I really enjoyed the Soon tofu soup, which is probably one of the best tofu soups we've had in a while. Their spicy pork bulgogi was seasoned just right—not salty—and I especially loved their side dishes, especially the seaweed one! So delicious!
Our service was excellent.
Amazing delicious korean restaurant.

Food and atmosphere is good. But the service we received for today's lunch is not good. We had four people and they forgot my order for 20 minutes, and they also forgot the drinks that we ordered. One of the lady is rude, when I asked her for my order, she said is coming but turned out she needs to check me again with what I ordered before.

Delicious food. Reminded me of home cooking. From bulgogi to kimchi jigae, all side dishes are fresh and delicious! They are open for breakfast too!!

We arrived as a group of four and sat down after signaling to the staff. Ten minutes passed and no one came by with menus or water. There were no menus or QR codes on our table, while the table next to us received menus promptly. When I tried to make eye contact with a staff member, she turned her head away. It felt like they did not intend to serve us. We had just left a conference at the convention center. We were neatly dressed and sober. I do not know why our table was ignored, but it was not due to our behavior. As a result, we left.
