We were sitted before a Korean couple came into the restaurant, but they were served before us. Took the waitress some time to take our order, but the Korean couple received their order way before us. And there is only three that is in the restaurant. Discrimination at its best. Won't ever come her again :(

I wandered into this authentic Korean restaurant one day & visited over a handful of times during my last year in Hawaii on Oahu, Honolulu. I would have random cravings for their delicious oxtail soup and run for it. Always catered to by kind employees, and the relaxing atmosphere this tiny spot offered. The food is great and recommend if you want to experience authentic Korean food. ( Oxtail soup is a thing in the area, I wouldn't venture anywhere else but here) The value is there, and so is the taste!

If you have never had cold noodle soup, this is the place to try it. Very satisfying and refreshing on a hot day. Everything is as it should be ! One less star bc of the. Neighborhood should be cleaned up for the tourists.

Finally found a place where they serve the military pots - budae jigae. My favorite place was pocha32 in New York City and I have yet to find a place that serves something similar in Hawaii and this was the closest I could find. The cold noodles added more to the pot of jigae. Ingredients included some seafood, spam, cheese, bean sprouts, tofu. The only thing I wished they could add more of would be veggies, especially water crest. It would make the pot so much better!

Love this place. They definitely know what they're doing when it comes to soup. I've tried most of them and highly recommend the tofu soup. Lunch menu is priced right too. Check it out!

Horrible customer service. Literally the worst since I've been on the island. Whoever answers the phone is extremely disrespectful and dismissive. Not helpful at all or willing to resolve issues they had with receiving my order. When asking for a manger she refused to put them on the phone. I had to call back 5 times for them to answer the phone again and they still wouldn't let me talk to a manager. I had a 50 order with no refund or credit and no explanation. I'm extremely pissed.

This a decent Korean option if you are in the area but not the best you can get in Honolulu. I had the cold noodles-- which was very good -- and the beef bone soup -- which was very average. I would come back for the cold noodles, although it was a bit pricey for a dish that is usually inexpensive. For both the cold noodles and beef bone soup, I paid about $30. I did takeout so they didn't include any side dishes, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the kimchi, both the cabbage and turnip, was not very good. I think it was not pickled correctly, judging by how over salted it was. In sum, it's average Korean food for above average prices.

Was craving korean food and stumbled to Chogajib. Food was great for the lunch special price and portion size! I definitely recommend coming during their lunch hours. Parking was also very convenient.

Phone ordered yukgaejang and jaeyukbokum. The spicy pork was okay but 21 dollars is kinda steep for spicy pork. Taste was okay. The yukgaejang was 17 dollars which is high for a simple common dish. The hardest part was it wasn't enough, if I pay the 17 instead of the lunch special 8 dollars I would expect to a tleast be full. Felt like a vegetable soup, almost no meat in soup. Flavour was just so so. Similar to any regular korean plate lunch place. Watch what you order I guess they must have some winners on the menu. Can't take out lunch specials you get charged regular price for a lunch special portion especially during covid when most people don't want to eat in. Total was $42 for 2 common lunch menu items.

They have the best spicy stir fry pork and veggie, and tofu soup. Must try!! They also have karaoke rooms but idk why it doesn't say that anywhere lol it's like a secret haha tho I'm not sure if it's still open during this pandemic. Some employees are friendly and one even added extra egg on our soup with no charge. Others don't feel really welcoming.

We ordered Kalbi and the Pork bulgogi. They were a little sweeter than I liked, but were good. The side dishes were not my favorite.

They raised the price for I believe all of the menu. Now the lunch special soups and stews are $8.95 And $9.99 from $6.99 and $8.95. It's still in line with most other Korean restaurants with similar stew/soup lunch specials but I think you'd get better quality and value elsewhere.. If you get their cold noodle naengmyun after lunch special time it's now $15.95 instead of $13.95. I also don't like the darker thicker noodle they use. Go to sorabol - $13.99 and they use the thin noodle. I'm half Korean so trust me :). And add the vinegar. I like the sollongtang but go elsewhere for quality and better value. I ordered the steamed mandoo $14.95 for only five pieces!? And it had a weird chemical aftertaste.. Doused it with sauce... Mom ordered their ddeok guk _not a lot of ddeok all soup... Taste was OK but better quality and value elsewhere.. I will not be coming back again anytime soon sorry.. Only thing is their gakdugi radish Kimchee is good to my liking lol. It's a must when you eat sollongtang.
