We recently ordered through a delivery service (and to be fair, we were those irritating customers who ordered 15 minutes before closing). I ordered the tostada bowl and my husband grabbed the buy one get one small burrito special. I'm not sure if the food is typically served cold, but our food was completely cold when we received it. Again, to be fair, this could be a delivery issue and maybe not as much as a service thing. I read a few reviews about the small burritos and people said the size was enough for them to feel full. My husband is a large, tall man and he was still hungry after finishing both small burritos he received. He also mentioned that maybe next time he'd add some kind of hot sauce or something to it as there was nothing special about the flavor. My tostada bowl wasn't what I had hoped it would be. The meat was full of flavor (kind of on the sweet side, not really my thing), but the rest of the bowl didn't have much flavor compared to the meat. I will say though, the portion size of my bowl was great and there was a LOT of meat, which I feel like in most cases is the opposite experience. Maybe if we had ordered at a different time of the day or had eaten in person at the location it would have been a different experience. I'd be open to trying the food again to give things another chance.

Went for dinner with my roommates tonight, and definitely regretted it. I have no clue how they have a decent yelp rating, hopefully not friends and family of the franchise owner boosting the stars. I grew up in Newport Beach, where the company was founded, and I've never had an experience at a chronic tacos like this one. The staff were impatient and rude. I didn't catch their names, but we went in at 7pm, January 10th. The food was mediocre at best, I read some of their 5 star reviews and it was so obviously fake, cause they said it was the best Mexican food on island, what a joke! The food was worth 3 stars at best, but the employees are straight up terrible. (TLDR: food is mediocre, ambiance was subpar, staff was actually the worst.) EDIT: My roommate just informed me that his burrito bowl tastes like it contains sand. I tasted the bowl, and I can confirm that it does taste like it contains sand... WHY!?

Hit or miss sometimes. Sometimes I get single meat when I order double meat. Sometimes I get double rice too. Today is one of those sometimes.

I usually come here twice a week but the service today (around 5) was so bad I won't be back in for awhile, the service has been getting progressively worse since they opened. One thing of note that was actually so ridiculous: I asked for cheese on my burrito and she sprinkled the TEENIEST TINIEST little baby amount and when I asked for more she said she had to charge me. Lmao. I'M DEADDDDD. Btw extra cheese is almost two bucks. Just spent like twenty bucks on a small burrito combo. Ugh.
