Both sandwiches came on stale bread. Onion rings not hot. Poor food quality for price

Nice staff but the food was not good. Had the grilled cheese and it was just toasted bread and cheese. Probably the worst grilled cheese I ever had. Nice location and staff but likely wouldn't go back.

Pictures of the food look more appetizing than they were - the meat for the loco moco was overcooked and dried out; pancakes were cold and my husband said the kahula pork on the Benedict had on off flavor like it wasn’t fresh and lacked flavor. He didn’t even finish it.

We did try this place once before - I got the cheese omelet which was good enough- husband got steak and eggs, he asked for medium steak but it came well done. We automatically got fresh cream for the coffee ,but second visit we were given half and half cups, so we asked for said fresh cream but it was never given to us. Overall the second visit the waitress wasn’t as attentive

Maybe we’ll give it one more shot for lunch while we’re on vacation, but I don’t think we’ll be back for breakfast

I would not recommend this eatery to anyone. There were pigeons everywhere which our waitress had to constantly shoo away with a broom. I ordered the patty melt with sweet potato fries while my parents ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, both of which were moderately expensive (around 27 and 31 I believe). The patty melt was the worst I have ever had. The bread was soggy and there were about 3 small individual slivers of onion. The meat was okay. After reading one of the other reviews, I had opted for the sweet potato fries but those were limp, slightly soggy, and lukewarm at best. My parents' spaghetti was mediocre but the icing on top was when a small flock of pigeons started surrounding my friend and I's feet eating some bread that somehow made its way on the ground. I went to the bathroom bc it was uncomfortable to have a bunch of birds at my feet and afterwards I was informed that a pigeon landed on the table and proceeded to peck at my fries. I lost my appetite after that considering that the pigeons continued to patrol the area. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR DINE-IN TO ANYONE!!!!

Everything in the area is overpriced mediocrity taking advantage of tourists. Know what you're walking into.

Rudest customer service ever , they open at 7 but won’t serve you till 8 , what’s the point of being fully open

I went into this restaurant with modest expectations but left thoroughly disappointed. The food quality was a letdown: the ham was squishy, the fruit tasted like it had been frozen, and a mushy grape was particularly unappetizing. The toast was burnt, though the egg was fine. Unfortunately, the lack of cleanliness was even worse. The salt and pepper shakers were dirty, the fans were caked with dust, and the countertops looked grimy, making the overall atmosphere uncomfortable and unhygienic.

The only redeeming factor was the staff, who were polite and accommodating. However, there were service issues. We ordered pancakes but were mistakenly given French toast. It took another 15 minutes to receive the correct order. While they offered a free Shirley Temple for the inconvenience, it wasn't enough to improve the experience.

Photos of the food and the visible dirt are attached for reference. If you value cleanliness and good food, I recommend steering clear of this place. Friendly staff can't compensate for the poor quality and hygiene issues.

We dined in here for breakfast and it's an awesome breakfast to have. They have all the traditional New York style eggs and pancakes.

Service was incredible the workers were very nice people, but if you plan on eating here, only get a sandwich (pastrami Reuben was delicious) or omelette because although they have 100 things to pick from, they’re food other than sandwiches are not that great

We ordered take out and the staff was lovely. But, the Cobb salad was really sub-par. Wilted lettuce, funky tastes, etc. Not enjoyable at at, especially for a salad that was over $20. The sandwiches and fries were decent though!

I had an omelette. It was best omelet I ever had, it was that good. My friend had a Bavarian waffle. She said it was also delicious.

The place has potential, but the birds that prowl for scraps of food are quite bothersome. It would be great if the Hilton or CJ's could add some bird deterent spikes to the railings and nearby Japanese structure to maybe help keep some of the birds at bay. It seems like the staff are equally frustrated with the bird situation, and they went above and beyond to help ease the situation, but they really shouldn't have to. The food was great and relatively cheap for Waikiki.
