Honestly Cream Pot was a little disappointing. The setting and the restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.. But the prices are ridiculously high, and the food is at best mediocre. My friend and I got Eggs Benedicts and it was very underwhelming, and honestly quite bland. Their pancake soufflé is delicious though, I recommend that, but I would not return on just the price point itself.
2 plates of pancakes and 2 coffees 96 dollars No, it's not a joke! But where are we? So yes it’s good but it’s a real abuse!!!!!

1star because the mandatory 20% tip was included for 3 of us that came to eat without disclosing it before hand. Felt scammed. “Service charge” for 3 people is crazy. Felt rushed as well while eating.

Japanese tourists should definitely avoid going there. I went in April and it cost 15,000 yen for two juices and two pancakes! I noticed this later when I charged my card. I threw away the receipt so I couldn't tell the store! There was one female Japanese clerk, and she had a gentle demeanor, and I took orders from her. They even come out of the store and take photos. A foreigner who seems to be the store manager doesn't know much about accounting. Was it Asian? I wonder if the Japanese clerks know that they are extorting money from tourists? It was disgusting. A rip-off store that is not worth 15,000 yen.

The place looks amazing inside, like something out of a fairy tale, and the food is delicious.
I’d recommend trying the French toast or any of their egg dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive, though they do ask that you don’t take photos inside :/

This is a beautiful little restaurant and the food was excellent. The service was great. I see people leaving complaints about price in reviews but the food and service is well worth the prices and the mandatory service fees. If you eat here and aren’t cheap then you will not be disappointed.

staff was super attentive and kind, and the atmosphere was very charming and cozy. the food is on the pricey side but 1) gratuity is included into the prices of their dishes and 2) i do feel like they're offering something most other restaurants are not. the banana caramel french toast i received was worth the price, as it is likely in the top five french toasts i've had. their food is quite decadent, but it is clear the ingredients are top notch and cooked perfectly. no complaints on my end, and i would gladly eat here again and try their savory options.

I don’t wanna make a scene so I just paid the bill and left. I understand tipping since I work in customer service industry too but it should be customer choice. Everything is written on a paper which I find it really sketchy.
Personally, it seems like a household that thinks its customers are idiots.

In particular, they make you pay incomprehensible amounts such as a 20% service charge and card fees.
They say it was written on the menu, but there was no prior explanation, and especially the attitude of the man at the checkout counter (his way of saying that you had to pay 20% as if it was obvious and his behavior of looking at customers like idiots!!)
And lastly, the 20% included is written as cost & expense and tip. Shouldn't the basic mindset be that cost & expense should be included in the food price?!!!!
Then, even if it is expensive, it is something to be aware of from the customer's perspective and eat it, but I think the current way of operating is to swindle customers without getting their permission!!
And I think having customers pay tips separately is not the right way to run a household. I could give you more tips The management style is really unfortunate.
