So good! I ordered from Uber eats so not sure how the place actually looks on the inside, but I got their spicy beef ramen and that was pretty good! Beef isn't my favorite, I would've rather had chicken but I was still impressed and the spice level was just enough kick! My husband ordered the teriyaki steak plate with fried rice and he was very happy! It was a whole meal with a side salad and these little pot stickers, I forgot what they're called. Not a local from Hawaii so very happy with this choice after having a long travel day!

The curry beef udon meat wasn't tender. Seems they didn't cook it properly. Flavor was OK....Other dishes my group order was ok...Tan Tan ramien, unagi over rice combo. Good service

Placed a delivery order from Daiichi Ramen Kahala. When the driver arrived, the receipt was correct with my name & order. In the bag was a completely different order. Called Daiichi Ramen Kahala to ask about correcting the order and was told I had to order it again and pay for it. Not helpful at all.

Overall, it's a good ramen spot. My daughter loves it. We've been back 2 times since our initial visit. I had the spicy tonkatsu ramen. The broth was not oily at all. It was rich and mildly spicy. The Cha Sui was tasty and thick. The noodles were cooked al dente providing some resistance when I was chewing. I also had the chicken katsu as a side dish. This was also cooked very well. The breading was light and crunchy. It wasn't oily at all. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

Ordered tan tan wonton ramen on uber eats and sadly was really disappointed. The dish tasted bland and not flavorful at all, even after trying to add to it at home. The spicy beef ramen I ordered a few months ago was similar but I figured I'd try again. Was really disappointed because the dishes cost me over $20 individually. It makes me sad to leave a review but I don't think I'd order from here again.

Order katsu curry, the bed of rice was hard and I explained that to them on the phone. But he proceeded to tell me when he ate his lunch wasn't hard and that I probably took a long time to eat it.

I ran in and grabbed dinner as the hubby ate at Capriotti's. Both eateries are located at the New Ku'ono Marketplace in Kahala. To my surprise there was actually a waitlist and people were lounging in the wait area. I maneuvered around people to order my takeout. I got the Ramen Black Garlic Special Combo No.2 with four piece gyoza and calamari $17.25. Everything was good. The char siu was tender with bits of fat in it. The broth was nicely seasoned even though it could have used more of the black garlic oil. The gyoza was stuffed with pork and veggie filling. The calamari rings were fried to a perfect crisp. They both paired well with their respective sauces that were put in my takeout bag, which I appreciate. They were busy, but the wait wasn't that long. I waited about 10-15 minutes for the food before I was out of there.

I really like this restaurant, it offers a large variety on their menu. Atmosphere is clean and beautiful. Would suggest a calming type of music to finalize this restaurant. Another suggestion would to add green tea ice creme on their menu to compliment the fine food. I would highly recommend, which have started already, this restaurant to others..

Tried their Mano tofu ramen and it was good. Their chicken katsu curry is good too, but need more curry on the chicken katsu. I even love their gyoza too.

staff was okay and the prices arent bad but the food wasn’t that good. I got the miso ramen and it was salty and the noodles were a little hard. I also got an order of gyoza and it was burnt so i couldnt eat it. Really disappointed.

Had misunderstanding with take out order. Was able to speak with restaurant and clear up. Hassle free... great service!

A good price for lots of food. I've come here a few times and usually get the wakame ramen - it has a ton of wakame and lots of noodles! They are fast, especially for takeout. While it isn't the best ramen on the island, daiichi is a good quick spot to fix a craving

The parking lot was really packed and somewhat hard to find parking. The inside looked clean and a worker was wiping down the tables, chairs and legs of the table! Smelled cleaned. Strong air conditioning where we sat so it was a bit chilly. I always carry another layer so it was okay. We got our food pretty quickly in the restaurant. Salad and soups came out first. We ordered about $63.00 for gyoza, tako yaki, unagi don, mini calamari plate, and mi hijo chicken plate. They all came out pretty fast which was good since we had kids with us. Everyone was satisfied with their meal. It was flavorful. We came here because it was good the first time for someone in our group.

I am glad I found this ramen spot located in the Kuono marketplace which I didn't realize was there. A great area across from Kahala mall which seemed to have a lot of good food places and other services. This isn't a fancy place but great for groups and people looking for fast service, good food and decent prices. I was surprised at how fast our food came out after ordering and the portion size was huge. Compared to other restaurants, I would say it was a couple dollars under average. A couple of the plates that we ordered included: Tonkatsu ramen, fried rice and chicken katsu curry.
