Update 12/28/2025: Still delicious. No wait when I got here at 11:20 am on a Sunday. Food was great, servers took good care of me. Smoky mac & cheese is 'ono!!! /// Went to Denny's Waikiki (the location on the corner of Lewers & Kālia) on the way to the beach at 8:30 am on a Friday, the week before Christmas. Absolutely no wait to get seated, very pleasant, friendly, and attentive wait staff, place was super clean. Breakfast I ordered was out fast! Denny's has upped their food game in the last few years, it's no longer essentially meh truck stop food like the old days. If you haven't tried Denny's in a while, you should check it out. Lunch items available all day if you aren't into brekkie.

Brought out a grilled even though it wasn’t on the menu, saved my breakfast
Food is average Dennys food. The coffee was flavorless and watery so was the orange juice. Pancakes were what you'd expect. Our server was very short and a rude. Server was annoyed to bring water to our table. He only acted cordial after receiving a tip.

Sorry to say for 4 years now ate our Christmas dinner and crazy as it might sound 4 years in a row waitress explained 2 managers are here and only 1 cook which explains why 2 hrs for food
