Wasn't very impressed, Wife ordered an alcoholic beverage the cup had a crack and dumped all over the table. Ordered the dry aged steak.. Keep in mind I have enjoyed many in my life. This tasted bad like rancid. Wifes food was great. Figured the waiter would of brought us a new drink or ask why we didn't want any to go boxes for a full steak. I had high hopes for this place.

Worst experience to date ! Clearly couldn't survive as a steak house so has morphed itself into a co-share with a Japanese restaurant. Ambience is awful and the Service was appalling with several meals not arriving until everyone else had finished! No wonder we could get a booking there for a group of 8 when no one else could take us!! It is crap.

The steak was good although cooked slightly under than what was requested. The sides were good. Everything was served pretty fast. In short the food was good. Comparing prices of other steak houses in the area, DK lands on the good value end of the spectrum. But to be truly honest the steak dinner we had on this occasion was slightly underwhelming considering the prices. However, the service was awesome - our server Justin provided super friendly and attentive VIP service that made us feel like family. I would go back just to be waited on by him....he's the best! The atmosphere was pretty chill with no blaring music, so if you despise restaurants that aspire to be dance clubs then you'll like DK. All in all, DK gets my recommendation for a more than adequate steak house experience in this particular part of Waikiki, although you most likely can find more impressive places (foodwise) if you journey further out.

I made a reservation for 8:30, and at first, our waiter was very hospitable, creating a good impression. However, things quickly took a turn when he got another table. It was evident there was a noticeable shift in the level of service; the conversations were lively at that table, while ours felt curt and rushed. We constantly had to ask for refills. Every inquiry about the menu was met with brief responses before he hurried off again. I found myself repeatedly asking for basic items: a refill on my drink, the salad that took too long to arrive, and even bread, which I noticed he was serving to others without delay. By the time my entrée finally came, I was still working through my salad, which added to the frustration. It's disappointing when the service doesn't match the quality of the food or the ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, despite the beautiful setting and the delicious meal, it was hard to ignore the subpar service we experienced.

The restaurant was unexpectedly busy for the day before Father's Day, so it took a little longer for food. Manager came out to show concern, apologize, and offer the drinks we had as complimentary....and we didn't even complain. That is why, despite the wait, I give 5 stars. Besides, the food was excellent. DK's is one of the greats in Honolulu/Waikiki.

I was really looking forward to dining at DK Steakhouse after hearing great things about their steaks, but unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by incredibly slow service from start to finish. Placing our order was a long wait, and even though the restaurant wasn't full, it took well over an hour to get our entrees. Getting the check at the end was also a drawn-out process. The food itself was decent, but when the service is this consistently slow and unresponsive, it really takes away from the overall experience. For the prices DK Steakhouse charges, the service should be far more attentive and efficient. Unfortunately, I won't be returning or recommending this place to others unless they make serious improvements in this area.

We had DK steakhouse on our last night in Oahu, the service was impeccable, the food was absolutely amazing. I had an amazing experience here and I highly recommend DK steakhouse. The steaks melted in our mouths and the fresh sushi was delicious.

I could only reserve for Party of 7 on Open Table but I was able to call restaurant to add 3 more people. I made reservations for 6pm so by the time we got there, the restaurant was pretty empty. We finally got to order at 6:30, our food didn't come out till 7:30. We ordered dessert too so everything took long to come out. So we left the restaurant at 9. Our parking ticket validations was only good for 3hrs so we barely made it. The most expensive steak was alright, nothing to be impressed about. Everything else was alright. The crème brûlée that my husband and I ordered wasn't equal amounts.

During our honeymoon we visited DK steakhouse and they made countless efforts to let us know they were going to take care of us. Numerous staff members had kind words to say to us, congratulate us, and wish us well on our new journey. We ordered a wide variety of items from the menu and nothing disappointed. We especially recommend the filet and the mango crab handroll. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Honolulu.

We did not have a great experience. Drinks were terrible, no lemons in 5e whole restaurant for my water, server forgot to bring us bread, vegis were cold! The only good item was the filet! The steak was very good. That being said we would not recommend going here. Not worth the money for the service we got.
