One of, if not the best, mochas that I've had on island!
Good art, well textured, and great flavor!

Exceptional coffee that they roast themselves every Saturday. Very nice flavor profiles and control of roasting. Plus super kind owners at the store

It was close to $16 for two “large” white chocolate mochas. They were good. Service was friendly and fast. You have to pay for parking. I woke up early and didn’t want to wake up the rest of the family and it was open early. Mostly just homeless people and workers of fort street mall present. Parked off a different street and walked a bit to get there. Parking downtown sucks but it is what it is.
Good luck not spending a hundred dollars buying all their different roasts after trying them. Their coffee roasts are fantastic with distinct flavor profiles and wonderful body.
One of the best lattes I've had in the United States (traveled 40 states so far) so definitely give them a visit.

Best coffee: locally grown beans, freshly roasted.

I remember the former tenant at this location, Kele’s Coffee, which didn’t survive the expansion of Starbucks in the Downtown area. So, when Downtown Coffee took over the location, I held out hope that they would do better and they did!
Downtown Coffee not only survived, they have thrived, even as Starbucks had to close some of the branches because they had expanded too quickly. As the saying goes “Slow and steady wins the race”.
The owner and staff are always friendly and they certainly know how to make good coffee. So, if I want a good cappuccino, I’ll only be getting it from Downtown Coffee.
Attached to this review is a picture of perhaps the last surviving mug from Kele’s Coffee, which I gave to Downtown Coffee as a gift and perhaps a good luck charm.

You can really taste the quality of their beans. I had the Kona latte with soy, and it was smooth and perfectly balanced. Finding street parking can be a challenge, but that’s pretty much par for the course in downtown.

Our go to coffee fix! Fred & John make the best hot mocha latte w/ an extra shot!! Not too sweet and just perfect! Hawaiian grown coffee and they roast every Saturday morning just outside of the shop! You can tell it’s all high quality beans! The shop is clean and the ambience is welcoming with Hawaiian music! My little slice of caffeine heaven in the middle of downtown! There a small loading zone on the back street that you can park at and run in!
I’m a barista and I can definitely tell their coffee was quality! I got a simple iced latte and it was some of the best coffee on the island!
Such friendly people! This shop sells coffee grown and roasted in Hawaii. They let me taste each one and were happy to share about their experience and coffee journey. They stay busy, but they love what they do and love to share their coffee with all who stop by. They do their roasting on Saturdays if you're curious!

Superb, quaint coffee shop on the edge of Chinatown. They roast their coffees fresh every weekend. My favorite is the Waialua, made from beans grown here near O'ahu 's north shore. Tasty desserts, friendly staff.

A beautiful coffee shop. Simple but nice menu variety. They also have Decaf espresso so it's perfect for an afternoon latte. They roast their coffee beans every weekend. Can't wait to try their caramel cappuccino next 🤗

Got a dirty ice chai with raspberry and a ginger peach tea. Both were delicious. The barista answered my questions about the ube cheesecake and was quite patient with me. My wife was elated with her coffee as nobody else on island has raspberry syrup for the chai.
