Sorry but a McD's quality Hamburger for $12 bucks! For that price the cheese should at least be American, not that artificial Velveeta crap. Seriously Hawaii what is with the extremely low food standards. At least the staff was very friendly.

I ordered online and went to grab my order. There was a hand written sign that they were going to close early. My online order was marked completed and ready for pickup. I went inside and they said they were closing early and they didn't prepare my order. They said I would get refunded. I tried to contact the company online and still waiting for a refund for almost 5 months now. Such a scam of a place.

My go to Sunday lunch place in kakaako. I probably order takeout from this place one or twice every month since before covid.
Over the years they refine the menu to focus on burgers, chicken, and subs. I have a few favorites like the po boy, cubano, French sub, firebird, creamy garlic chicken and the chicken box. Haha Lately I've been getting more into the specials like meatball, chopped cheese and the chicken parm subs. This past weekend was 3 kings chicken parm. That's the picture you are seeing.
Cost vary in the $10 to $20 range, most $15 to $20 is typically.
Parking is still the most challenging here. That's why I usually go on a Sunday where I can walk there. Mostly people will park at salt or h-mart parking garages. Both are free for the 1st hour. After that, you should purchase from the place and get validation to pay less.
I recommend earls ever since they opened in kakaako, and now they have a Kapolei location...nice!
Note during high traffic hours like lunch time, your sandwich order could be a long as 40 mins. Few times I ended up sitting outside by the health clinic because there is no room to wait nearby or inside. Other than that, no complaints.

This is absolutely my favorite sandwich shop ever. I live on Big Island but sometimes go to Honolulu just for their Italian sandwich. I really really wish they would open up one on Big Island!

Darn it, forgot to take a photo of my country fried chicken sando and waffle fries! Not a big fan of sandwiches, but this place hits the spot when that random craving hits. There’s a variety of fried chicken styles: Nashville, Country, Creamy Garlic, and Hot Honey Old Bay - the Country version had a yummy herb mayo that I wish they had slathered on. The sandwich had two crispy tasty breast pieces, which made for a surprisingly filling meal. Will come back to try the burgers.

Friendly and welcoming counter staff hold
down the fort for EARL of Kakaako. Based on other reviews I chose their Creamy Garlic Chicken Sandwich and it was a winner. My only suggestion is that they go a tad lighter on the sauce.
Parking: You can park in the SALT garage, and there is adequate street meter parking.

I'm from the East Coast and have lived in HI for 5 years. Great food is the ONLY thing I miss about back there. I wasn't expecting much, since I've had things from other places that were supposed to be "East Coast", but I must say, even my highest expectations were exceeded!
I had the Cubano Italiano. A different take on the “Cuban” I’m used to. It was awesome! The bread... oh, the bread… sigh. I haven’t had a sandwich this good since I moved here! And… Utz chips? From Hanover, PA? You’ve got to be kidding me! I think this guy must BE from the East Coast ?.
Definitely will be going back next time I’m on Oahu. Wish they had one on the Big Island!

Good sandwiches. Customer service is always awesome. Don't plan to eat inside though as they blast the music which makes waiting for your food painful. Lol no doubt the kitchen in the back is jamming out to the speakers in the dining area up front.

The sandwiches here are great. They all seem to be a few dollars more than you’d expect but that’s Hawaii. Customer service is great, but there is always something off when I come here. Sale system isn’t processing gift cards, they are out of a lot of offerings, or something else. The tables always have crumbs on them and food takes a little long. The sandwich variety and quality keeps me coming back despite these inconveniences.
