Compared to Jenny’s Shrimp Truck in the North Shore, this tastes like the shrimp and garlic sauce were cooked separately then tossed together at the end. The garlic is sharp (perhaps simmer it for longer) and the shrimp tastes unseasoned if you get a bite with no sauce. The white rice could use some furikake. The Thai shrimp curry plate (choice of spicy or not) was actually better, I would come back for that.

Ebinomi Honolulu is fantastic! I highly recommend the EbiKahuku (Garlic Shrimps). The dish was incredibly flavourful and delicious, with the garlic and seasoning perfectly balanced—definitely not overpowering. A must-try spot for Hawaiian garlic shrimp!

I come to Waikīkī often for work and always make time to stop at EbiNomi for their Spicy Garlic Shrimp. The best I’ve found in the area. Friendly staff, wait can be a bit long during the dinner rush but it’s worth the wait.

The garlic shrimp is not good. You only get 6 shrimp and the whole thing is covered in LOTS of really harsh tasting garlic with hard bits of something that was either dried hard garlic, pits or weird nuts in it. Not buttery, bakanced and lemony like a scampi should be. We had to rush back to our hotel to brush our teeth for 5 minutes afterwards. The next day we ate at Giovanni and it was wonderful, 12 shrimp well seasoned for similar price.
