It is a small cozy place. We have to wait a little bit to be seated. The staff s were friendly and foods were good.

I went here to try out their breakfast which looks great in photos. When I arrived here with my family of 4, I had to check in with the girl at the front desk. She took my info and was told I'd get a page once a table is ready for us to be seated. Everything was fine until I noticed a family of 4 that came 20 mins after us and get seated before me and my family. I approached the young lady and said what's going on with the other family that came after us going ahead of us. I was not happy with her answer. Oh, that's weird I thought I paged you already. She didn't and after I confronted her about it, she says go ahead and walk upstairsand they will seat you. What would have happened if didnt pay attention, would another family gone before us again or would we have waited another 30m -1hr. Once I walked up and got seated, I noticed they had open tables. Why make customers wait 30mins- 1hr. Is it to create hype that your spot is in high demand.

Not sure if she profiled me and my family but doesn't make sense how she'd let a family that checked in after us go ahead of us. I personally will not go there again with plenty of other breakfast restaurants in the same area without such a wait. In fairness, my youngest daughter seemed to really like their burrito. The other breakfasts plates we got was decent, wasn't impressed and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.. Thank you for a bad experience.

French toast is to die for! I really enjoyed the strawberry Nutella plate i ordered. Big portions, a little pricey but it’s practically on the beach so it’s almost expected. Very very hot inside; not much air flow. Go early to avoid a wait!

There’s a waitlist that saves you time as you can book a table before leaving you place and just start going there accordingly. My original “seated by” time was 8:55. I sat down at ~9:15 but I was informed about the change and offered to sit at the counter in the meantime (waited longer as I preferred the table, my choice). Staff is super friendly and nice. I ordered the loco moco as I wanted something local and I didn’t get disappointed with the taste. It was a bit surprising that with the restaurant being open 6am-1pm at 9am they were already out of mushrooms that were supposed to be in my dish and no discount was offered for the missing ingredient. Overall I would go there once again to give another chance and try another dish:) hope that helps someone

⭐☆☆☆☆ Horrible Service, Bland Food, and Rude Management

I had one of the worst dining experiences at Egg ‘n Things in Waikiki and honestly can’t understand how this place is still popular. From the moment we arrived, the service was a mess. We waited well over 60 minutes to be seated.
The staff looked overwhelmed and clearly didn’t care.

When the food finally came out, it was a complete letdown. I ordered the shrimp dish, and it was absolutely horrible — the shrimp had no flavor, just plain boiled shrimp with the skin still on. No seasoning, no effort. It looked and tasted like something from a school cafeteria. To make things worse, my food was supposed to come with rice and it never showed up. When I asked about it, the server she asked the manager and he said to add it to my bill and never followed up.

There were also no alternative salad dressing options — just ranch. How does a restaurant not offer at least one more option? Hence I didn’t order the salad.

When I tried to bring this up with the manager — an Asian bald man wearing a mask — he was shockingly rude. He acted like we were bothering him and didn’t care about any of the issues. No apology, no solution, just attitude.

For the price and the hype, this place is a total scam. Cold food, bad service, zero hospitality. There are so many better breakfast spots in Honolulu — don’t waste your time or money here. Never again.

One of the male staff was really rude and we felt like we were being discriminated against. If you want a happy breakfast and a nice pancake, this is the worst choice.

Requires putting your name on the yelp list and wait time could be upto an hours or more. Restaurant has stunning views of the Waikiki beach, sea food options taste great.
