Elephant shack thai food

We ordered the vegetarian option. The tofu they used was not good. Never had that type of tofu before it was the normal tofu Im used to having with Thai Food. Also the fried rice was to salty.

This place is great from the food to the service. Definitely recommend for everyone local or tourist! Annabelle is super sweet and makes sure you're enjoying yourself and the food. I'll be coming back for sure!!!

The best Thai food ive ever had! Try the Yum Pla

Stopped at their food truck after a beach day at turtle cove and was not disappointed! Amazing food, looked great, and packed full of flavor! The guys working were so kind and helpful! One of the best vegetarian dishes I’ve had while on the north shore, the veggie stir fry was perfect and my boyfriends steak and eggs were good too (he says) and he is hard to impress—highly highly recommend this spot!!

I really like this place and have had good experiences in the past. This time, I ordered online, arrived 20 minutes later, waited another 10, and then got a text saying my order was cancelled. I was told they were too busy for online orders and had cancelled them all. I was then told to reorder in person and expect a “fat wait”—despite already waiting 30+ minutes. I understand being busy, but the dismissive attitude was disappointing.

We have been to the Elephant Shack several times and have always enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Tonight we had the panang curry and chicken wings and they were great. In terms of atmosphere, it’s outside and casual overlooking the Kewalo Harbor at a table under the palm trees. We enjoy going at sunset bringing our own “adult drinks” (not sold there) with our food. Overall, the service, food, casual environment, sitting outside with friends make for a wonderful time. Also, the chef Annabelle from Thailand gets 2,thumbs up 😊

The BEST food I’ve had since being here in Hawaii for about a year!!! The chefs answered all my questions thoroughly and trust me I had a lot! I truly love food and wanted to try something different. My husband and I both ordered the Yum Nua with different spice levels and the Thai coconut milk tea! My taste buds danced with every sip and bite. I’m still sipping tea as I type this sad that it’s almost gone! The Yum Nua has such a fresh and exciting flavor. From the cilantro to shallots to chili lime sauce I’m just so happy to have experienced this place personally. If you’re in the area please grab some for yourself, come back & tell us about it! 🫶🏽🖤

Honestly, kind of an amazing place. It's located at the wooden food truck area, which is actually pretty nice. The truck has a nice ordering screen. It has vegan options. I've often been surprised at how much I enjoyed my meals here. I'm addicted to their vegan / Ganesha larb at the moment.

Best of all, Thai hot is actually hot here! Not as hot as I'd like, but I'm used to Thai hot at a lot of places not even registering. Actually, they're willing to go even hotter if you get to know them!

It's on the wooden food truck court, which is kind of a cool place with wood tables. The setting is really my only complaint, as there are flies and sometimes the tables aren't totally clean. Not this restaurant's fault.
