The garlic chicken and mochi waffles was delicious. I also had the breakfast bowl which was bursting with flavor. The staff was accompadating and super friendly. I'll definitely be back.

At et al, Griffin is a fabulous server. Food is excellent. Ample sizes of servings. Timing is important as we ate two different nights. One night (Tuesday at 7PM) was very loud and service was poor (but we were comped the dessert because it took more than 20 minutes for it to arrive) but Thursday night at 6PM was less crowded, excellent service from Griffin, and not noisy. We will keep going back because the food is so good.

We arrived on time for our 9 am breakfast and the place was less than 1/4th full. There were many wait staff but they were talking amongst themselves. We were finally seated after a few minutes of waiting, and then waited at least another 5 minutes for a server to come and ask if wanted coffee. This occurred while I observed 3 or 4 servers talking to one another by the cash register. I finally had to stand up and walk over to where they were and ask when we could at least get some coffee, or get a menu. I simply don't understand how the staff could be talking to one another while people are seated and waiting for a menu or coffee. This is the first time I've observed such server behavior as I have been a regular Sunday morning attendee coming a minimum of twice a month for at least one year. This is my first complaint as all other times the service has been wonderful. As usual the food is superb. Thank you for listening.

My wife and I are from Sydney, Australia and this is the second time we have eaten at this restaurant. Great Value, Great food. Just outside of Waikiki, on the other side of Diamond Head in the suburb of Kahala, so this is not a tourist restaurant in Waikiki, which don't get me wrong they have their place on holidays. However, if you want a great local restaurant with great food at great prices and a fantastic bar then you need to try this place out. A short Uber ride from Waikiki.

I always love their food. This time I had their special from the fall menu, which was braised short rib with parsnips. It was really good, but short rib could've used a little sauce with it as it was a teeny bit dry. The appetizer from the fall menu, butternut squash, was really really good. The beet salad is always a winner and beautiful to look at. My friend had the pork chop from their regular menu. The pork chop was pretty dry. That was probably the only disappointment on the menu. The atmosphere is casual, and the service was very good.

First time going here and definitely won't be our last. I love the chowder with ulu ❤️ my husband got the short rib loco moco and I tried it too, and it was good! We also had the bulgogi pizza. Gotta go back to try the rest of their menu!
Haven't been there for a year and was disappointed in the quality of the food. Very disappointed. Breakfast bowl rice was very dry and pork was dry and over cooked. Friends soft shell crab benedict looked very unappetizing, although she said the small portion was ok. Have they changed chefs? Service was good, but, thinking twice about going back.

Top notch cocktails and food. We had the Aviator gin cocktail and another seasonal gin lemongrass cocktail - perfect! Pizza was fresh and delicious. Our server was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel relaxed. The atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful.

Convenient location with ample parking. The atmosphere is upscale but relaxed. The employees are always friendly and the food is consistently delicious. Special thanks to Reggie and Wayne for always making room for me even when the restaurant is super crowded!
