I didn’t want to go and was expecting some cheesy production but I’m glad I went. It was a great experience. You could tell the crew was passionate and enjoyed interacting with the guests and the food was delicious.

This is such a fantastic experience! We have been to other Luaus and this is far and away the best that we have participated in! The location is superb, and you can't even compare it to the Las Vegas style luaus we have seen before, They explain that the origin of the luau is a family gathering, and between the fantastic property where this is held , to the delicious food and the tent on the patio of a house in the mountains , this absolutely feels like a very comfortable family gathering. I promise that this will level up your trip to Oahu and will be writing a review yourself! Thank you Nutridge!Kid-friendliness: Kids will love it.

It was a rainy February day and they still put on an amazing luau! They really make you feel like family by the end. The location has to be the best on the island. It is perched on a hill side overlooking the city so as the sun goes down the backdrop starts to light up. Plus your trip back down the mountain has a beautiful lookout with a view of Honolulu, Waikiki, and Diamond Head. Stop searching all the other luaus. This is the one.

I was enjoying my trip and experience at Nutridge until one of the hula dancers were told to ask me if I was carrying. That completely ruined my experience. I was embarrassed and disrespected as I am not carrying. It’s ironic that it is also women’s day. I’m sure everyone else had a great experience but I certainly did not. Hawaii thrives off of respect and I did not feel like I got that in return

Looking for which luau to go to can be overwhelming as there are so many options but if you’re looking for a more intimate and family feel, this is the spot! This was the first luau I’ve been too and it was honestly such a great experience! The food and drinks were great but the people who work and perform are the stars of the show! The venue is also gorgeous!! Highly recommend checking this luau out!

A truly amazing experience!! This was my first luau after moving here in October. It was so much fun and so intimate. There's only like 70 ish people and everything is very up close. The dancers were fantastic and everyone was so friendly. The food.... I can't say how delicious it was enough. I was only upset because I got too full too quickly! I would come back here and will be recommending to everyone to come by!

Everything that has been said about Experience Nutridge is accurate. It is amazing, however, I want to add that on top of one of the best experiences you can have on the island, the people that work here are truly good in their hearts. I would like to thank each and every one of them for the kindness they showed me by patiently waiting with me in the dark, after hours, until my Lyft arrived. They sacrificed getting to go home on time for me. They are the embodiment of the true Aloha Spirit! MahaloKid-friendliness: Many kid focused games and events.

I was a bit nervous going into this luau experience since I thought it might be cheesy and ultra-touristy (first time in Hawaii and at a luau in general), but at Experience Nutridge the staff are skilled at balancing entertainment & hospitality with fostering respect for & education about the culture behind the luau tradition. I HIGHLY recommend this luau if you want a more intimate and informative experience. There are still excellent performances, fun games & crafts, and food/drink included! They also offer vegetarian food which was a huge plus for me. The location is within a state park on a historic hillside farm property, where sunsets are gorgeous.Dietary restrictions: You can specifically detail any dietary restrictions when you book your luau ticket, and they take good care to accommodate!Parking: Parking lot is in the state park, just follow the directions given upon booking. There will be greeters from Experience Nutridge there waiting, and the gate to the property is adjacent to the lot.

This was an amazing evening! I wanted to do a Lua because I was in Hawaii but honestly didn't know what to expect. This was incredible. I learned about the culture, met new people, played games, danced, had amazing food and laughed! It was wonderful!

All I can say is WOW! I went into the night expecting a hokey or cliche event. I left feeling like I was part of their family. What an amazing experience.

We chose to go to a luau at Nutridge due to its small size and it did not disappoint! First, just getting to the Nutridge estate was an event in itself. Driving up Tantalus was exciting and if you get there early, I would suggest driving to the park at the very top to see breathtaking views of Honolulu (just a turn or two past Nutridge). It was lightly raining when our event started, so they started us in the dining tent, and gave us our choice of a beverage/cocktail. You sit with other guests and a sign with your last name directs you to your seat. There were about 35 people in total. The view from the tent is gorgeous and a great sunset happened in front of us while we dined. Our host for the night was informative and mixed in humor. He was really entertaining! He included some good messages about family (ohana) and made for a warm friendly atmosphere. Before our dinner, we proceeded to other areas of the estate to learn about traditional Hawaiian luau cooking, and were treated to traditional Hawaiian dances, including those with fire. There is a small amount of walking on uneven surfaces (hillside). We were given time to play some traditional games such as spear throwing, "bowling", and some Hawaiian crafts. A blow of the conch shell told us that dinner was ready. The food was served buffet style and was yummy! pork, chicken, rice, etc. After everyone is served, you can get seconds. While we ate they treated us to a Hawaiian dancing show and later in the night, encouraged us to get up and dance. All in all, it was a beautiful night and Nutridge estate was a fantastic way to experience a Hawaiian luau!

Excellent small luau, less than 60 people. Open bar but limited options. Standard luau fruity drinks. No bourbon just Jack Daniels hi but generous pours. Food was excellent. Seats were pre assigned. Buffet line was fast because they had some items like rice salad and King’s dinner rolls already on the plates and they plated everything for you. They also handled food allergies very well. No onions or garlic in anything except the gravy. The dancers were good no one was far from the entertainment. Thoroughly enjoyable.
