Fantastic #4 BBQ chicken. Lots of food for a good price in Hawaii. This isn't a great sit down place but I was planning to take food to go. I loved they didn't take 30 seconds to get my food. They cooked the chicken fresh on the spot. I waited about 15 minutes which is how long chicken should take to cook. Great spot.
They have a great location. Food was decent and hit the spot late night. Noodles were underwhelming and from Ramen pouches. Chicken was good and the quantity of food for the price keeps it at 4 stars.
I eat here 3+ days a week. Line is regularly out the door. Lots of classic Korean and local dishes. It’s also a no-brainer way to get big servings of fresh, gorgeous vegetables: two kinds of kim chee, cabbage, lightly pickled radish (so ono), broccoli, sprouts... Prices are great for the amount and quality of food. A “mini”-size entree (includes rice and two veggies) is a ton of food for an adult. Don’t sleep on the jian dui (fried sesame balls).
