Excellent brunch. Great food prepared with care. The corn fritters are the best we had ever tasted.
Well worth the short walk from the centre of Waikiki.

A horrible experience. I had dinner there the other night and there was only another couple dining. We had the bacon and mushroom penne pasta and the short ribs. Both dishes were overly salty. So much that we could only eat half of our food. The best part was the curried cauliflower.
Service was non-existent. We walked in and the hostess was talking with the kitchen staff. Her back was turned towards the front and she did not see us until a few minutes later. Throughout our dinner, she spent her time in the back of the house. Like I said, service was non- existent. I waited at the counter to pay and again, waited until she came out from the kitchen.

Small restaurant, but great atmosphere and some of the best breakfast we’ve had. The waffles were incredible. Fresh made whipped cream, bruleed banana, incredible syrup, and figs. The mushroom baked eggs were a similar version to shakshuka and incredible. Great fresh pressed juice as well. Would recommend.

Definitely worthwhile for happy hour (5-6pm). The prices are good and the portion sizes are large for the price. The steak poutine fries and the wagyu sliders were great. The truffle fries were good. The corn fritter elote and smashed potatoes were meh. The fritters didn’t have much flavor and it would have been nice if the “smashed potatoes” were actually smashed (they were just whole roasted potatoes). They don’t serve alcohol, but it’s BYOB so you can keep with the happy hour cost saving theme. Service was good and fast.
A couple of gripes: they have no blinds, shades, tint, or anything to block the blinding sun from entering the restaurant when it’s at the right angle (which is when it’s setting…aka during happy hour). The other is that the tiny space is extremely echoey. It makes it difficult to hold a conversation if there’s more than one other party in the restaurant at the same time as you because it gets just so loud.
The minor gripes are easily fixable, and I’ll still probably be back anyway because their happy hour is so good.
Cozy place with great breakfast dishes and authentic matcha lattes! I will definitely be going back to try the rest of the cuisine.

We wish the Mashed Avocado's veggies had been cooked slightly longer and mildly seasoned. Cutting the bread was a chore. The ingredients of The Caprese were fresh but overpowered by the saltiness of the prosciutto. The small dining area is very acoustically alive, making it hard to hear people close by when the dining area is full.

Crazy good food. The steak melt is the best steak sandwich I've ever had. The restaurant is easy to get to and get in and out of. It also has its own parking lot.

First time visiting, and I really enjoyed it. The service was quick and friendly, the food was great, and the chia pudding was so delicious (better than mine, haha). The strawberry matcha was amazing, and the cozy, intimate setting made it even better.

I had the chance to visit Fig & Ginger located in the McCully Shopping Center for Breakfast and Dinner. Greeted with genuine smiles the server was very knowledgeable about the wide variety of food choices which made selecting what to eat very easy. For Breakfast I had the “The Ocean” and for Dinner I had the med rare Wagyu Burger.
OVERALL - The service, quality of food and price was above excellent!!! Say Hello to the friendly owners Yim and Edmond!!

Cute and small dining spot. Delicious food I got the avocado toast, the whiskey, bacon, the truffle fries, and the coconut mocha. The avocado toast was 10 out of 10. Extremely delicious. The whiskey bacon is one thick slice very good. The perfect balance of sweet and savory. The truffle fries were a crinkle cut thicker fry. I personally like a shoestring cut for my truffle fries but they were still very tasty. The coconut mocha was delicious perfect balance of sweet, but not too sweet.
