This was not your typical Hawaiian breakfast/brunch eatery. It serves mostly new American, some Italian and even some Jewish food. I had its Italian meatball sandwich with fries covered in marinara sauce and bits of pepperoni. It was pretty good and my wife’s corn fritter was decent as well. The young lady who served us was very pleasant and helpful.

Salmon Eggs Benedict was so delicious. My husband has the Big Breakie, and thought he would not finish but he did & loved it. Americano & cappuccino delish. Thank you.

Great food. Local ownership. Small in size but brimming with atmosphere and character. Lovely for an intimate birthday brunch.

I had a wonderful experience at Fig and Ginger. The food was fantastic. I ordered a spinach egg Benedict and it was full of flavor. The waitress and staff were very accommodating. This is the perfect breakfast spot.

Got an açaí bowl $15 , they have a calm peaceful feel , love the design, staff are so nice, they let us do the charcuterie challenge lol. They have cute desserts, clean eats, and healthy options. Lots of parking. Service was quick! Must try. Definitely a cool lunch spot to go to!

First time visit to this establishment but it won’t be the last! I got one of the specials of the day, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were perfect, the smoked salmon was fresh and delicious, and the smashed potatoes were so crunchy and complimented the meal. All in all, sooo good. The service was friendly and the restaurant was charming and quiet.

Creative Fun

The food, service and atmosphere has gone downhill especially the lady that she says that she owns the restaurant, she is extremely arrogant and a server there, rude and never accommodates anything, charges extra for everything including once she said she put accidentally more strawberries and charged me for two smoothies when I ordered one same she added more to the meal I ordered, used to be way nicer at the beginning, I am never going back there again you shouldn't too

We discovered Fig & Ginger on our first morning in Honolulu, just looking for a place to have breakfast near our hotel. At first, the restaurant didn’t really stand out from the outside—it’s tucked into a small plaza and doesn’t immediately catch your eye. But we are so glad we stopped!

We’ve already gone twice during our short stay in Hawai‘i (and plan to return again before we leave), because everything has been outstanding. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy, family-friendly vibe that makes you feel at home.

Our favorite was definitely the mushroom bruschetta—so simple, yet incredibly flavorful and delicious. The açaí bowl was also amazing, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Honestly, everything we tried was super tasty the 4 times we visited.

This spot quickly became one of our favorite finds in Honolulu. 100% recommended!

Very disappointed with my experience, or lack of experience here. I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance and when we arrived, our table was not ready and were told we had to wait until another party left in order for them to accommodate my party of 6. When I glance over at the table she is waiting to leave, I notice the people just started eating so obviously the table would not be ready anytime soon. In the meantime, they took a walk-in party of 4, which left me confused and even more annoyed bc I thought another table was going to be added to the 4 top they just sat the walk-in at. We inquire again about our reservation and the hostess advised that they were going to put (only) 2 tables together longways, which to me still is the same amount of table space and sounds very cramped for 6 people. 20 mins have now passed and we're still waiting. At this point, we decided we don't want to eat there anymore as we didn't even receive an apology for the wait and they just seemed so nonchalant about the keeping us waiting. We decided to take our business elsewhere where it would be appreciated (and it was, so it all worked out). Still, we were so disappointed as we were so excited to eat here. I would suggest this place not even bother with reservations bc they will disregard it. You can only make a reservation for a party of 6 or more and as you can see from their pics, this place is tiny so you'd think they would set aside the large table in the middle and would be the whole point of the reservation for larger parties. In fact I was at another establishment on Thursday that had specific tables that were only for parties of 6 or more. It was just a really, really strange experience.
