This place is amazing. The sushi is soooooo good and the folks there are so friendly and kind. We eat here about once a week. You won’t regret ordering here!

Good place to get some sushi. Overall the ingredients and quantity of the food were fine.The booth is located within the food court of Palama Supermarket. it is in a seedy part of town and the property is gated. Thus parking is limited, but there is an attendant that will help you guide in.Fish was fresh and and firm. I had the Salmon and Ikura bowl(18.00) and a Salmon Avcado roll (7.00). What I didn't like was the texture of the rice. It was too mushy, but seasoned correctly. If they can improve on that, that would be a positive step.

The taste of the uni was also very clean and sweet. It didn't have the fishiness or bitterness that you get at some places. ???????? ????? ?????? $?? was very good too. The seafood was fresh and quality was excellent. I opted for an extra Hotate instead of unagi and that was no problem. This also came with a spicy tuna roll that's pictured in the next photo. I thought the roll was ok. Needs an increase in spicy tuna to rice ratio. ??????? ?????? $? ??? & ????? ?????? ?????? $? ??? was yet again very good. Seafood was fresh and sweet. Props to them for frying up the shrimp heads for you too..???????? & ??????????: Not rated due to takeout. I do want to acknowledge the phone person for saving me $3. I was going to order a Spicy Tuna Roll $6 and the Deluxe Nigiri $25. She suggest the Assorted Sushi Deluxe $28 which is a combo of the two. The honesty is appreciated!.????????: Highly recommended. Fish and Rice has been our go to lately for takeout sushi. The quality for the price is hard to beat. A lot of people like Katsu Midori because of the quality to value. Fish and Rice blows them away in addition to other stand alone sushi restaurants we've been too. It's a little hidden gem in the Kaheka Palama Supermarket food court.

Tucked into a corner of a Korean Grocery Store in a two story plaza which also houses a UPS Store (because you always need a UPS Store when you travel) is Fish & Rice, one of Honolulu’s best kept secrets for sushi and poke. We visited three times on our most recent trip to Honolulu and always walked away satisfied. The restaurant is mostly take away with a few indoor tables, and each time we visited we ordered to go and we took it back to the hotel and to the beach! The portions are generous, the food carefully prepared and the pricing very fair. We loved watching them make the sushi and poke bowls, and know we’ll be back because as we said, you always need a UPS Store when traveling and while there might as well get some of Hawaii’s best raw fish to go!
The fish is always so fresh here and the staff is friendly! We’ve been many times, it’s consistently good. Highly recommend.

L-O-V-E the food, H-A-T-E the parking.[FOOD] Everything that I've tried so far has been really fresh plus the servings are very generous. Definitely a fan of NIGIRI B SUSHI SET since it has my favorites like UNI & IKURA which you don't always see being offered at other places. The AHI KATSU is another favorite. The katsu is nice and crispy, while not being oily. These are my go to items every time.
