When I visited, a Japanese female staff member was making it. He is a very pleasant person. The seasoning was very delicious and suited Japanese people. The cashier can also speak Japanese, so you can purchase and eat without stress. Since the store has a food court-like feel, you can eat authentic and clean garlic shrimp at a low price, so it is recommended! (If you've ever eaten garlic shrimp eaten in a kitchen truck, you'll agree with the cleanliness aspect.)

Food was good and came out pretty quick. The food court had a cafeteria vibe and a nice open air balcony.

Indulging in Five Star Shrimp at Waikiki Food Hall Co was an absolute delight! There's been a change at the food hall since my last visit – now you venture to each vendor to order, adding a touch of excitement to the experience where you can check out what they’re cooking before making your selection. This marks my second visit, and after sailing through the Hawaiian vibes with the Pineapple Boat on my first trip, I decided to embark on a flavorful journey with the steak and shrimp plate. The shrimp, drenched in the traditional garlic sauce, was an explosion of flavors – no skimping on the garlic here! The messy joy of peeling shrimp and dunking them back into that savory sauce was an adventure in itself, and oh, so worth it.The steak, with its impeccable texture, was a masterpiece adorned with perfectly balanced seasonings. No need for a knife – it was so tender that you could effortlessly take a satisfying bite. The friendly and efficient staff added to the overall positive vibe. Yes, it might take a little while, especially when they're grilling your steak to order, but patience pays off. Trust me, it's well worth the wait. And a pro tip: don't forget to share the garlic joy – your taste buds will thank you, and who knows, maybe it'll enhance your post-meal plans with a hint of garlic charm!

I read that you can get garlic shrimp for $9 every day on Thursdays, but apparently that service ended in August.Unfortunately, I can pay with docomo points, and with docomo points I can buy it for 100 points per dollar, so I ate it for the regular price of $15.50.They didn't give me a receipt and the reception was not very good.I think the taste was better before.

Waikiki Food Hall on the 3rd floor. A type of shrimp that is light and easy to eat. The garlic is modest and the lemon goes well! Recommended with beer.

Ugh, totally devoured my delicious shrimp platter before realizing I forgot a picture of it! Having said that, the dish combo was very good, nice portion size, and decent price point! Can be found in the Waikiki Food hall level 3 building C (above the Cheesecake Factory) !

$18.50? Nah Call this steak? Pretty disappointed. So incredibly thin, and quantity looks to be about half of the menu image. I got bamboozled Barely 4 pieces of shrimp. Taste is ok but not for $18.50.

It is located at the end of Building C where Wolfgang is located. It was hard to find...I bought this because it had good reviews and I could use d points. You can't do TOGO. I was clearly told NO!The one with the shell is thinner than I expected, so I personally don't mind it. The sauce was also authentic and delicious.

Wearing vacation hats for this one! Garlic shrimp was very good. Rice was amazing. Steak was pretty good but perhaps not the best cut. Not really air conditioned but has ceiling fans. Recommended!

Shrimp was frozen and the steak was so chewy that I had to spit it into my plate. It's definitely not anything like Giovanni's because they use prawns and 5 Star uses frozen shrimp. We also came here for the $9 Thursday special and when asking about it the cashier rudely told me they don't do that anymore. No apology or explanation. I guess they can advertise something, and not honor it. The places seems shady in general, and the woman in front of me was complaining about the same things. Save your time and money and eat somewhere else.

I bought garlic shrimp at To Go. Overall, I might give it a 4 star, but it didn't suit me personally. The shell has not been peeled, and there is a deveined part (I thought this was normal in Hawaii, but Bluewater Shrimp was properly prepared)It's amazing how delicious it is though. Also, the pineapple that came with the platter was so delicious. If you're looking for garlic shrimp for takeout, maybe you should look elsewhere and order online?
