I had an excellent garlic chicken plate. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The potato Mac salad was much better than most salads of that type that I've experienced. And the salad dressing suited me well. I would go back. Also, I got my food quickly.

I hadn't been here in a long time ... I don't know why, as I like their curry. A friend liked their Thai Fried Chicken so I had to try it. YUM! Crispy on the outside and moist inside, it was delicious! One scoop of rice, some greens, and a container of sweet chili(?) sauce, all for $13 + tax. It took a while to get my plate as it's cooked to order ... Well worth the wait. I'll be back ...

Ordered the Penang curry with garlic chicken combo for $14.61 after tax, a good value. The garlic chicken was excellent, crispy, sweet, and flavorful. The Penang curry was okay, but the white rice was a bit mushy. Overall, a 4.5 for the food. Owner was friendly and service was fast, a 5.

I’ve eating here on and off for over 10 years. Fourth Street Cafe has the best food in downtown Honolulu, if you’re looking for a good plate lunch without having to wait long. Their food is consistently amazing, I’ve never been disappointed. Garlic chicken is my favorite plate here. The owners are super nice, I’ve really enjoyed chatting with them over the years. So happy to see their business is thriving! Will definitely continue to go here any chance I get!
