I preferred the night atmosphere, vibrant with the Hawaiian nightlife.

Overall, we had a good experience at Fresco. It felt like a resort Italian restaurant, which was fine for where we are. I would agree that the service was a bit impersonal and felt rushed. The waiter seemed to pay the most attention to the other party member.

I don’t usually write negative reviews for restaurants because I know how subjective they can be, but our experience with a server named Tammy was so remarkably poor that I felt obligated to speak up, especially after seeing others call her out by name.
We didn’t have a reservation, just joined the waitlist and were seated after 15 minutes. No issue there. But once we sat down, we waited another 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Tammy finally showed up, offered a half-hearted “sorry, it’s busy,” and took our full order.
The food came quickly, but one dish was wrong — chicken instead of shrimp. I can’t eat chicken for religious reasons. It turns out Tammy had written the order down correctly but submitted it incorrectly. Another server stepped in, apologized, and reordered it for me.
Tammy checked in twice with a casual “everything okay?” even though it clearly wasn’t, and she never owned the mistake. I had to take my corrected meal to go since my family had already finished eating.
Then came the final insult: a bill with an automatic 20 percent gratuity. I said I wasn’t paying it. When I explained why — late service, wrong order, no apology — she removed it, then snidely said, “If you want faster service, maybe make a reservation next time.”
Blaming the customer, refusing to take responsibility, and showing zero self-awareness is enough to guarantee I won’t be back. Tammy made sure of that.

5 stars for service alone. The waiters, hostess - they were all kind to us and engaged with a smile on their faces. The food was pretty good. My 3 year old had 3 helpings of penne and she barely eats. We all ended up sharing what our children preferred eating and the portion size for 2 kids was enough for a family of 4. Delicious drinks. We ended up having one more than our usual. Loved the atmosphere, very warm, friendly and welcoming.

Service was beyond excellent. The staff was amazing. Food and drinks were great. I'm surprised there's not more reviews.
Had a great experience overall! The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the drinks were absolutely perfect, well balanced and flavorful. The standout of the night was the spaghetti all’aragosta, easily the best dish we tried. The sauce was rich and the lobster was cooked perfectly. The salad was also amazing, fresh, crisp, and beautifully dressed. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the fettuccine was a little undercooked for my taste. Still, I’d definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone craving quality Italian food!

the waiter was excellent. attentive, quick for the order and delivery, beverage refills, everything he did was spot on.
The food was overpriced for what you got. My wife’s chicken Parmesan was a large portion, but it was slightly burnt on the bottom. My market fish was swordfish and it was bland. My son’s fettuccine Alfredo was average. Service was nothing special. For good Italian food in Waikiki, go somewhere else.

The bread was only 1/4-1/2 inch wide, 2” long a was stale. The chicken parmigiana was not tender and buried in sauce. I ate there 3 times this week and Mon & Tue chop salad & entrees were good. Bread bad all 3 dinners.
Fresco within Hilton Hawaiian Village is delicious. We had Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti it came piping hot and stayed hot until the end. Shrimps were great size cooked perfectly with lovely garlic sauce. We had Caesar Salad and Asparagus sides, perfect for dish. It was so good we went again for Beef Tenderloin with a mushroom sauce and potatoes Scrumptious and cooked to perfection. Restaurant is on 2nd level, its not overcrowded, great ambiance and staff is wonderful and attentive.

We went here two nights for dinner during our trip. Our waiter Randy was outstanding. Food was amazing.
We tried this place on two separate occasions- unfortunately both meals I ordered were both bland; the Penne Ai Quattro Formaggi was basically an Alfredo that lacked flavor - 2nd visit we did as a takeout and I tried their special scampi with chicken and that basically just tasted like melted unsalted butter on noodles and chicken was dried out. There was no garlic flavor- definitely needed salt and maybe some lemon- unfortunately I didn’t have either in my hotel.
My husband got the Rigatoni Con Salsiccia All’Arrabbiata and he did enjoy that and said it has good spice.

The staff and food were absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great meal in the area
Great Food and good service!
The food was delicious here. The service was nice and the staff was very kind. I found a piece of paper in my food halfway through eating it which was disgusting. However, they redeemed themselves by offering to make me a fresh plate and took it off our check as well as giving us two more drinks for free and a free dessert!!
