I Love This Place!!!

Great Facility Tour! I was lucky to be drawn on their raffle for the tour of Fresh Island Fish facility.

I learned about the the types of fish ? that are long line and bottom fish catch. Also, the season of fish in the Hawaiian islands seas. The location and process has top quality management programs to sustain sea to table consumption.

Shout out to our tour operator (Denise). She was very knowledgeable and informative with the tour.

Thanks you Fresh Island Fish Co. I had enjoyed this tour.

Pro Tip: Wear long sleeve clothing for temperature controlled areas. You might get really cold.

It’s not cheap but it’s SO ONO! We come at lunch for the tuna salad sandwiches, soup and rice. Service is typically friendly and efficient. It’s a highlight of every trip back “home”... :)

Love, love the fresh fish that's packed with an ice pack! We've been buying since March. Easy online ordering. Super nice employees when you pick up & efficient pick up procedures. They're the best!

If you’re in Waikiki it’s worth a trip to grab an Uber or a lift and head over to the pier and have some of the best, freshest fish for the dollar.

Uncle's is on Pier 38 close to the site of the Honolulu fish auction that supplies fish to many of the city's restaurants. The fist served at Uncle's is always very fresh and well-prepared. I often eat here with a friend. Her favorite dish is the ahi belly, and mine is the crab salad. Uncle's also has a delicious crab and avocado sandwich. Sometimes one of us orders the ahi belly and the other the sandwich and we share -- so tasty! Uncle's also has delicious calamari steak.
