Friendly staff and great fresh tasting food. Our waitress was very attentive, checking everything was ok. The fresh garlic spicy beans were great as was the seafood salad. Thankyou for a great experience. Highly recommended for lovers of Japanese style food.

I felt very uncomfortable during my visits to this restaurant. The female server was noticeably unfriendly, and this happened on both visits. What made it worse was that she was clearly much more polite and attentive to Western customers, while being rude and dismissive toward Asian customers. Experiencing such unequal treatment was very unpleasant and disappointing. I hope the management takes this seriously and addresses this kind of behavior.

The food was excellent. I ordered the Diamond Head Roll and Toro Nigiri and enjoyed a glass of plum wine. The atmosphere is chill and quaint, though the space is small and fills up quickly. Service was attentive as well, definitely a must-try if you’re in Waikiki.

Looking for great sushi at a reasonable price in bustling Waikiki? Furusato is the place you're seeking. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the traditional sushi (nigiri). Rice was perfectly portioned and seasoned which made the fish taste amazingly fresh and mouthfeel satisfying. If you get the right table, you overlook beach vibes on busy Kalakaua Ave. The service was attentive, my green tea was refilled with good timing. The atmosphere was chill, and quaint, not for large parties though. Great food!

This was a perfect place for our last dîner in Honolulu. We wanted a great sushi place and we're not disappointed!!!! The fish was extremely fresh, and perfectly seasoned with wasabi ( proposed option). The restaurant was nicely decorated, making it a cosy place in this busy area. We loved it.
