Service was excellent, food was very nice, but it was a little empty, though still nice. Located on the third floor, there were nice outdoor tables.

Was looking for a casual dining/bar experience and came across Genius Lounge. They have a wide selection of drinks, including Hawaiian-style cocktails and fun mixes. I got the green tea shot and the sailer Jerry Mai tai, both were tasty… and a little strong. I also got the chicken nanban, papakauli short ribs, and surf & turf entree. All the food dishes pleasantly surprised me with the good flavors, especially the Hawaiian bbq sauce rib eye. Literally so juicy and delicious. Would definitely recommend for a late night eat and drink.

This was by far the most spectacular meal my wife and I could have hoped for, and exceeded our expectations by such a significant degree. The preparation, presentation, flavor of every dish and everything between was immaculate. Perfectly flavorful is the most apt description I can provide for this food. This truly was an experience to be had. Well done!

Was amazing dinner, second time to Hawaii and went back to Genius Lounge. Great service and staff so friendly and the food was amazing.
This place was fantastic. Such a great variety of food and beverages on offer. It is on the 3rd floor of the building. You get to the restaurant by going up to the top of the stairs on the side of the building. I cannot recommend the yuzu chicken enough. It is super moist with crispy skin. And the yuzu sauce is super flavourful without being too tangy. I chose to just have it with a side of regular white rice. It was so Ono!! We cannot wait to go again to try other menu offerings.
We came for my birthday . Genius Lounge serves Japanese inspired bar food and it was very tasty, the number of Japanese tourists dining there is a testimony to its quality. Definitely recommend
The garlic shrimp was the best I've had anywhere! The rooftop lanai had such a relaxing vibe, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Enjoying island-inspired Japanese fusion cuisine in the Hawaiian breeze was an unforgettable experience. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more dishes!

We hit the jackpot with Genius Lounge. The menu items were inventive while still preserving the local taste we were looking for. We went during happy hour and ordered from the very generous menu. The service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. We left sooooo full because we couldn't stop eating the delicious food. 💗💗
Food was fabulous! Great service, our group was a little rowdy and they accommodated us fine. Definitely go for the pickles & the spam katsu. Kids plates were a phenomenal value!
Great place! The kalua nachos are a must try and furikake ahi steak was so fresh and tasty...loved it!! The service was incredible. They went out of their way to accommodate my friend who has a shellfish allergy.
Quaint locals spot... absolute gem. Food was unique and fantastic! I would eat here again.
We had been here last year while vacationing and loved it. We came for happy hour and sat on their small upstairs deck. We did the same this time. Unfortunately, the service was average at best. I think they were much more concerned about a special dinner they were doing inside that evening. The food including the Kahlua pork nachos was amazing as usual and we also tried a tempura roll with ahi that was incredible. They do not open until exactly 5, so don't show up early as you will need to stand on the street. I would still return next time we visit.
