The rice was a little on the hard side. The rice was either the bottom of the pot or didn’t add enough water. No one came to refill our water, kids drink, nor my hot tea until we were ready to leave. When we scanned the QR code and signed up to be on the wait list, it stated it would text me to confirm that we were on the waitlist. We waited for 10 minutes and still no text. My wife walked in and confirmed that we’re on the waitlist with the correct number. And still not text.

Worst service in my Hawaii trip especially the skinny girl with a tattoo on her shoulder. When we walked in, she just looked at us and said nothing. She was acting like on drugs or high for the whole time.

They have the worst service, matter of fact they have absolutely no service. They don’t refill tea or water. They don’t even come to check if everything is okay. The only interaction that I had from them was when they walked us to our table and when I paid. But even those interactions weren’t pleasant. DON’T COME

Been to almost every Genki on island. This one's alright. The food that we did have was good, but they were out of quite a lot of the menu, like 1/3rd of it, so just keep in mind if visiting late in the day.
The service was great, everyone helpful and clear, and while the atmosphere was a bit small and cold, it served it's purpose.

The rolls weee good but the POKE BOWL was the worst, smallest and more expensive I had in my life! They charge $10.50 for a 1/4 inch fish cubes size. AND they got me a SOICY poke bowl but I ordered it mild/plain.

Food was great overall!
But the staff was rude except for one of the guys.
I had a party of 7 and I understand that is pretty big for that type of restaurant.
We had to call them every time to refresh our drinks as they were going around to every single table to refresh theirs without notice except ours.
The thing that was really rude, as I was walking up to pay the bill, a server lady said when is that big party going to leave they are so annoying! And I told her I’m here to pay the bill and she nervously said ohhh you heard that and I said yeah so we are leaving. She nervously laugh and I paid the bill.
I understand about the big party I used to be a server but that was uncalled for.

This is a fun lil spot for decent sushi. Pricing is great and when they say to try the garlic salmon they aren’t joking, it was super yum. I love the lil train that delivers your food and that you can order easily using your phone. The rice servings are good, the poke is pretty decent, and the friend squid was delicious.

Waited over an hour for a table. The website kept saying we were next in line while they kept seating other guests. Finally got tired of waiting and left. Food is normally ok but definitely not worth this kind of wait and poor service.

I was so looking forward to returning to Hawaii and having my favorite spicy tuna… Things have definitely changed, and the quality has gone down considerably which is truly unfortunate

The food and service was normal. I don't have any issues with it. But the main problem was their way of communication. I went there with a Genki sushi gift card. Because of it, I was more liberal in my orders. But I found out while paying that the gift card system was going through some kind of an upgrade and I wasn't able to use it. There was a letter-sized paper hidden somewhere behind the counter that gift cards cannot be used. Honestly, who would be able to see that when you walk into the restaurant? And certainly I didn't think that I couldn't use my gift card. I feel like I was scammed. I was forced to pay with cash and have to find another day to use the card, if the system works. I hope this is not the tactic Genki uses to make people visit the restaurant at least one more time. The workers were fine, but the company didn't communicate to its customers honestly.

Came to grab some food with my wife and son, n also brought my and sister. My son loves trains, so we kindly asked if we could be seated on the left side where the cart that brings out the food is a train. The girl in front took a big sigh and said “I guess I’ll go clean the table for you guys”. While cleaning the table she was throwing all the dirty dishes into the dirty dish tray and being all loud and stuff. Horrible service and Managment. There was the busboy who was actually very respectful and polite and kept asking us if we needed anything else. I’m not saying I want a 5 start treatment but if you don’t want to work here then just quit, don’t take it out on the customers. Food is good, not complain there. Just the management has to do a lot better and that one specific worker, has to have an attitude check. I don’t remember her name but it was a lil blonde haired girl.
