On this visit Nov 5 2024, location was slow. We stood waiting for 10 minutes before being acknowledged while 2 employees were present and one employee was at the cash resgister. Complaints from our customers were present all night long, from asking for beverage service to missing food orders. A roach was discovered in the seating area. Employees were verbally fighting about job duties through the night. Back of house service was amazing. Food came out in a timely fashion only to delayed by the wait services. I do not recommend this location and do recommend seeking other locations post this visit.
Kid-friendliness: Not so much, but with adult supervision you should be fine.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility able yet small dining area if wanting to sit at or in a booth.

By far the worst genki sushi on the island… service and food was horrible. Barely any customers yet managed to take 30 mins for food to come out; hair on one plate and rice smelt spoiled. Drive the extra 5 mins and go to Alas
While eating a cockroach crawled onto the counter.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I usually never leave reviews unless it's horrendously bad. I've been to Genkis my entire life, but Ward Genkis takes the cake for the WORST one I've been to. I got to Genkis around 5:15 pm. tonight, was seated along with 2 other parties at the same time. The server told us he would help the other tables first and come back. We waited while putting in our order manually through Genki's app. The server delivered the food but didn't even bother coming back to ask if we wanted any drinks, water, tea, or NOTHING. After the 3rd and 4th plate arrived, I finally asked the second server for water, tea, ginger, and Wasabi. This was about 25 minutes into sitting down. While waiting for our food, we noticed the servers touching the dirty rag that was placed on the hand sanitizer bottle, touching the dust pan and broom, AND SERVING FOOD and napkins with the same uncleaned hands. Putting their fingers in the miso soup bowls and water cups. It is very unsanitary, especially working in the food industry!! Being a fellow hostess/server in the food industry for many years, I understand the struggle when you have a couple of different parties come at once, but there were only 5 parties total in the restaurant. 2 was already seated and eating. 2 plus my party seated at the same time. They had a 4 top, 3 top and us a party of 2. They couldn't even come to our table once to ask if we wanted drinks or even check up on us. I had to ask multiple times for basic things. They never once filled water, hot tea, or gave extra napkins. The hamachi was old, discolored, smelt, and tasted off. I have never ever NOT tipped when eating out, even getting take out. Even bad service I've tipped at least 15%, tipping 25%+ if they have great service. But these 2 servers were so horrible that we almost walked out. It's not like we spent $20-40. Our bill was $70. It's really sad that a lot of food and beverage restaurants have such poor quality service now adays due to undertraining and people simply not caring to give quality service. I understand because at one time, I was younger, but I have never treated customers so rudely and have been in customer service jobs 18+ years. What topped it off was we had stacked all our plates and bowls nicely, putting chopsticks and trash on the plates. The first server had the audacity to ask us to hand him all the dishes!!!!!! ISN'T THAT YOUR JOB?! Isn't that what you're getting paid to do?! Because I'm pretty sure clearing and waiting tables is part of my job description as a hostess/server. We will not be returning to any Genki Sushi after this.

Might look like no one is there... That's just because the booth seating isn't visible from the front.

The staff is SLOW! I waited about an hour for take out. They didn't let me know the food was ready and it sat on their counter for I dont know how long. To make matters worst, when I got home I realized they got my order wrong. I ordered a Philly roll and they gave me a Tempura. Very disappointing!!

Great value sushi! Got the salmon karaage, perfect lunch with a bowl of rice. It feels a little lonely inside since the conveyor belt isn’t running :( It’s also sad that the center is so slow with business but it does mean that parking is plentiful in the garage!

Good food for the price and excellent service. It's just disappointing that the conveyor belt is not running, and it takes a while to order on the website because of all the options. Right across the street from the free parking garage!

The takoyaki was deepfried, making it quite dry. Ideally, takoyaki should have a slightly gooey center. Also, the milk boba, my ice cream, was frozen solid, which made it difficult to enjoy.

The food conveyor belt was not working. It was late when we went. Not too busy. The small dishes are deceptive, don't over do it on ordering it will fill you up quick. I would go with a large group of four. Six or more is not comfortable for seating. Sampling food, yes, eating in comfort no.

Food is extremely low quality. I ordered the salad which was obviously prepared days in advance or they just used old produce. The 'spicy california roll' smelled, looked, and tasted like canned tuna. After that bite I realized it would just go downhill. I cancelled the rest of my order, paying for what I had despite not eating the rest of that lackluster salad. The cashier had the audacity to have an attitude that I didn't want to eat that horrible food. No wonder the place was virtually empty. The location at the mall is much better.
