Great alternative if you don’t want to drive to the North Shore but just a different experience not eating at a food truck. The shrimp scampi is the bomb. I don’t go to Oahu without eating it once maybe twice during the trip. Comes with 2 scoops of rice, 12 shrimps with the tastiest garlic sauce. Try it with the hot sauce although it’s super spicy it does add another layer of flavor. They do not have an extensive menu at all but why get anything else but the scampi. It’s also a great price at $16 a plateThis location is in the H Mart on the second floor of the food court.

Located in the food court on the second floor of H mart, the wait here won’t be long. The shrimps are quite delicious and will be very filling if one person eats one portion. If you don’t have the chance to go to our restaurant in the north, eating here is also a good choice.

New location for those who don't want to drive towards Northshore for the original Shimp Truck. That location has its own charm and is a nice stop for a trip around the island. This location is a much more convenient way to enjoy their shrimp.

I'm glad there's a Giovanni's in the city! Located on the 2nd floor food court above Hmart. We each got a scampi plate and it was delicious just like our previous trips to the North Shore. You get AC, a clean bathroom and minus the flies! There are also other options at the food court such as ramen, bento boxes, egg sandwiches and more if you are still hungry. The only thing hubby did not like was there wasn't an option for peeled shrimps. No driving far to North Shore, but you gotta make the effort to peel your own shrimps. Bring wipes and food gloves if that's how you roll!

Giovanni's shrimp truck is one of our destinations when we visit Oahu. On our recent trip we were craving the garlic shrimp but didn't want to do the drive to north shore. Behold, we found this gem in a food court in downtown Honolulu. We were skeptical at first, but the food is just as good as the truck! It's in a hip food court above Hmart with tons of seating, and was clean. There's a small parking structure with free parking if you stay a certain amount of time. Would definitely recommend!!
