Delicious food . Pork is so tender and broth for the truffle ramen was so flavorful.

Completely unsatisfied. Took our char siu fried rice leftover home only to find a piece of plastic wrap hidden in the rice. This was for our toddler; hopefully, he didn't consume any poisonous plastic material while at the restaurant. Unfortunately, and gladly, threw away the leftover. We are done with this place.

Nothing too spectacular.Ramen was too soft for my liking and the chashu was mediocre. Gyoza and vegetable was not great either.

Not the best ramen I have eaten...I wouldn't recommend

I came here on my honeymoon with my husband (before the pandemic). We ate here multiple times during the week we were here-it was that good. I could shed tears thinking about how delicious the ramen was and how much I miss it. We had ramen with pork belly and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten-delicious and flavorful broth, tender pork belly...I could go on and on. I haven't had a lot ramen in Oahu so I can't say how it compares to others, but coming here was one of the highlights of our trip. When it's safe to travel again, we'll definitely be coming back.

Always good for ramen. They send to always have new items to choose from lately.

You can find Goma Tei Ramen on the third floor of the international market place in Waikiki. Originally, my friend and I went in there to grab a quick dinner and get some validation. To no surprise, it's actually a beautiful restaurant to be in. The interior design is natural, yet refined. It gives off a very classy vibe, however, it was de-elevated by the fact that the restaurant was empty, the service was slow, the menus were dirty, the counters were not as clean as they could be. Goma Tei's ramen is just not that good. I am veeeery passionate about ramen, but with all the ramens I've shaped my taste palette with, this proved to be a letdown. The ramen they specialize in is tantan ramen, which is usually super flavorful and rich. However, I found that their tantan broth was a miss; it just lacked the depth and umami that I'm familiar with. The noodles weren't able to redeem the ramen either. The noodles they served were a bit too gummy, almost as if they accidentally left it boiling for a bit too long. I figure that since their menu is quite vast (they serve quite a few broths), they aren't able to focus on the quality of the ramen. If you love ramen like I do, you might want to try another spot. If you are new to Asian cuisine, you'll probably like this place, and you'll have a wide variety of broths and Asian dishes to try; it's ideal for introducing new tastes to your palette! More so, it would be the perfect place for a large family with different tastes. tl;dr Pros: Pretty interior, large menu, good service. Perfect for large families with picky eaters. Cons: ramen is not great, details in cleanliness are overlooked, sad bc not many customers.

It's a decent restaurant that has too large portions to eat. We have to leave half of our plate, because when you are a toutiste, you cannot bring the rest of the meal to the hotel. Also we leave this restaurant with a fairly large invoice, because it charges us 16% service charges on the invoice.

We've been in Waikiki for a week. We've gone to some expensive places and some low cost places. This place is our favorite. Amazingly fast delivery with Doordash...like 15 minutes, I love the Tan Tan Ramen. Wish we had one of these places at home (Solana Beach CA)

The food and drinks were really good however the service was horrid. The waitresses always seemed bothered to do anything for us like getting a glass of water. Whenever we called them, they simply ignored us and kept going about whatever job they were doing. Was quite a let down as it was my partners 21st birthday.

Amazing little ramen restaurant. We ate here last night and enjoyed every aspect of it. The place is really clean with friendly staff that are really helpful and attentive. The menu is moderately sized and as the name suggests, predominantly ramen with a few curry dishes in there. We ordered the Tonkatsu Shoyu ramen, the Katsu curry and some popcorn chicken as a side. We really underestimated the portion sizes as they were huge and we deffinately ordered too much food. Regardless of this, everything we ordered was great, full of flavor and really filling.

This place is a bit hidden in the International Marketplace, but its worth looking for. The spicy tan tan ramen was delicious and the gyoza were more than good. Quick and friendly service.

Goma Tei Ramen is located inside the International Marketplace on the 3rd Floor. After reading many raved reviews, I definitely had to check it out. I tried the SunHo Ramen, which had a hot spicy sour broth, which was definitely different; but their ramen noodles felt very authentic compared to the other ramen offered in Waikiki. For ~$15 a bowl, it was nothing fantastic, and I wouldn't recommend driving out of my way to come here. The only thing I felt was that was going for them is their spacious restaurant which is good for big groups, and the portion size of the ramen bowls were huge. There is also a 16% service charge for groups of 6 or more.
