Walked with a reservation stood at the door for 5-10 mins with no assistance from anyone to be seated. My husband and I left.

We were happily surprised to discover how great “Smith & King” is as a “neighborhood” restaurant in Chinatown. Its online brunch menu looked promising ... so the 4 of us decided to check it out. We were immediately and warmly greeted upon entering ... and seated promptly. During our entire visit, the ambiance was always relaxed and unhurried. Service was always impeccable; and the food perfectly cooked and delicious. But as is in all things “Chinatown,” parking was a challenge but will not prevent us from visiting “Smith & King” again.

We always go with the kids for Chinese New Year to watch the Lion Dance. Kids love the lobster Mac and cheese. I love the happy hour specials! See you guys next year!

Co-workers Monthly Lunch, we were so very hopeful as the instagram vids and pics look yummy and the place looked cool. We RSVPd for 3 persons, and since this is a bar, requested low regular seating--not high bar stools. We got to the venue and while there are about 6 low table/seats; they were all full and only high bar stool seating was available. I mentioned we had reservations with OpenTable and that we had requested regular (low) seating and the bartender looked around and said well, let me see what he can do. But it was obvious all patrons were seated and in various stages of eating and we did not wish to disrupt anyone. So we took a high bar stool table and sat down. We asked a for a menu a couple of times before we received one. There were two persons serving, the bartender and a waitress. Two of us ordered Chix & Waffles and one person requested a salad and was told they were out of salad. So they requested a burger. We also ordered drinks and got down to catching up and chit chatting and our food came out shortly and we ate and we continued to chitchat and finally paid our bill and left. Of note, the burger came with fries, but they were not very crispy nor were they very hot so that was a bit of a drawback and the waffles and chix were filling and overall, food was tasty. At the end of the day, we came, we saw, we ate, and a repeat is not necessary.

We had a really nice time at Smith and Kings, enjoyed their dinner menu and drinks on a Friday evening. Food had good flavor to it and the drinks were perfect. Ian was a delight, very helpful in his drink suggestions and very fun and engaging. Will definitely go back!

Waitress kept forgetting our order and then didn't want to come back to table when it came for the bill etc- she just stopped serving our table. Good food. Odd experience.

Food was quite good, but we won't be back. Several reasons: It was very hot, parking was okay because it was a Sunday, but any other day would be difficult, noise level was too much for conversations, but the main reason was our food was preordered for our 11:00 reservation since our party 10+, but it came out at 10:47 before the guests arrived. When we requested to have it held in the back so it would not get cold, we were told by the manager that our request could not be accommodated....I guess my expectation of having hot food after all guests were seated was unreasonable (????)

We had brunch there for the first time in a while. They did not miss a beat. We always enjoy our food and drinks when we go. Breakfast shot is a must for us.

Not much open on a Saturday night near Kumu Kahua. We were happy to find Smith and Kings. It's a bar with several large TVs. The happy hour wings were delicious. Apple walnut salad was tasty. The lobster mac had a few bits of lobster and was nice and creamy. We should have passed on their cheesecake which tasted like a SaraLee cheesecake, definitely not fresh.

Really good food and drinks. The bar tenders are really friendly. Just needs to work on his jump shot!
