Prices increased a lot

I ordered 5 plates with sub fried rice, I got white mushy rice. Paying extra for no fried rice but 2 cups of white mushy rice in each plate. More rice than anything else

I went out of my way to go here because I remembered they had the best chicken katsu and chowfun. Unfortunately, it didn’t taste like before…chicken katsu was ok. You can get just as good at Zippy’s and other places with a better katsu sauce. Chow fun was tasteless. Beef cutlet was pretty good. Overall, food was ok.

Grace’s has seen better days. The inside is still very old school but I have no issue with that. Wasn’t dirty or derelict. The service is fine and they make your food very fast.

The mini chicken katsu was smaller than expected for the price. Portions from L&L are definitely bigger. Unfortunately, chicken katsu from L&L also tastes better. The chicken was crispy, but the taste of the batter very much reminded me of frozen fish sticks. I liked the mac salad, it reminded me of the mac salad from Kabuki. The chow fun under the chicken katsu was a nice surprise, but it was dry and not that flavorful. I would have rather had more frozen fish stick chicken katsu instead.

It was also pretty expensive for a mini plate. The new management needs to step their game up.

Got home to find that my corned beef hash was burnt and my eggs were so tiny. Obviously, I'm not going to drive back there with the off chance that the cook may do something to my food.

not the same as back in the 80s, but still can make you full. Good enough,

This has to be the worst place I have ever eaten in my life. I kid you not, my party of four orders 4 different things so we could try a little of everything. Every one of our dishes were pure garbage. The fried shrimp was overcooked. The mahi fish smelled and taste bad, the mix plate seemed to be stuff that was rotting in the fridge and they decided to get rid of it( pork garbage, something they called orange chicken and for some reason curry beef/pork curry couldn't tell.) And believe me when I tell you everything, I mean everything was terrible. The macaroni salad was made with the same tarter sauce that came with the shrimp. This place is by far the worst grossest food me and my family had ever eaten in our lives. Please believe me when I tell you do not eat here. This is a dire warning for anyone who reads this! I wish I had someone warn me. The food in this place should bring shame and dishonor to generations to come.

We read some reviews and tried it on this visit to Honolulu. The food was okay but not special so no need to ever return for seconds.

Long time since I visited this place… I missed their Mix Plate with salads! It was a bit after lunch time, so I didn’t wait for long to be served. My mixed plate was chicken katsu and mochiko chicken. My friend got beef cutlet and roast pork Mixed Plate. Both is us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch plate! Asian salad was just right flavor with sesame oil and fried wanton. A little extra was chow fun under the meat. And the price was really reasonable here!! ($15 each). Parking lot is just next to the restaurant, very convenient. It was really satisfied day for me.

The food was ok. I prefer L&L. 20 years ago when I was in high school, Grace's across from Kaimuki High School was the best! The lady at the counter wasn't very friendly to me but I think that's because I'm not a senior citizen. Seems like it's one of those hang outs. Haha.

Nice local place. Warm inside seating area and breakfast items seemed to get prepared much slower than lunch items. Order to go.

First time eating here, cashier was nice and straightforward, but food is pretty bland, my burger was pink inside and I crunched into something weird while eating it.
