I had the BBQ chicken and pork chop rice and it was very yummy and savory. The seasoning was tasty. This will be my go-to Vietnamese restaurant.

The food was very good. I had Pho and spring rolls. They were delicious. The owner was the server and she was friendly and happy. The decor is sparse but clean. They had the original Saracha sauce for sale. Perfect. I can't find it anywhere! The prices are fair. Not far from the Waikiki craziness.

We ordered the tofu curry from DoorDash. It was very quick and warm. It came with noodles instead of rice and only had tofu, potatoes, onion and carrots. I think my grandma expected more veggies since she’s vegetarian but as she was sick and this was fast it got the job done.

The chicken pho was almost unedible. Chicken very dry and chewy. I think chicken out of a can would have been better. I don't understand the five start ratings for chicken pho at this restaurant.

Mom and Pop atmosphere with excellent customer service, and the soups are tasty. The only thing I wish in the hot pot are Manila clams.

The lady that runs the place is so nice. She remembers who you are even after not seeing you for a very long time. I've tried every shabu shabu broth. Many choices of meats and veggie toppings. Definitely a place to bring friends/family visiting Oahu.

We picked this spot with for family dinner because they were able to accommodate my large family (8 people) without reservation 1 day in advance. I was pretty excited for hot pot especially seeing all the soup base options. I was surprised because the restaurant was pretty much empty when we walked in. The ambiance was like a typical Vietnamese pho restaurant. There's a section of hot pot buffet items and sauce bar in the corner. You can grab your own veggies, eggs, fish/pork balls.. etc. We ordered a mixture of Vietnamese Pho/rice and the AYCE hot pot. The Vietnamese food came out ok, the pho was hot and flavorful, rice dish was also pretty good. The AYCE hot pot honestly could be better especially since adult price was pretty much $30. The meat was just pho meat. You can select from sliced chicken, sliced pork belly, sliced beef steak or sliced brisket. They come in small dishes and theres additional charge for better quality cuts like rib eye and lamb. I got the spicy beef soup and it came out tom yum flavored. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that or they gave me the wrong soup. My daughter ordered the crab paste soup and it didn't taste like crab. The original pork soup was probably the one I liked the least. It was very porky in flavor but not in a good way. I wish they added a little ginger or cooking wine to the soup stock to enhance the flavor and mask some of the porky essence. Soup was also brown instead of white like most hot pot bone broth.Worst part of this restaurant is they do not respect children's ages. We gave them the ages when we ordered and we noticed we were charged incorrectly. For example my 11yr old was charged as an adult. When we asked why, the worker said it's because she "looked big"... the horror on my child's face when he said that. She's mortified and whispered "I'm only in 6th grade". My other child was also overcharged. We didn't want to argue with the restaurant and embarrass ourselves more so we just paid and left. All in all, this is a good place to fill your belly, the Vietnamese options are better than the hot pot.3 stars for the food, minus 1 star for service and charging fiasco.

AYCE shabu shabu for $29.99 or you can order off the "regular" menu which is a selection of Vietnamese foods. They have a shared lot with Pizza Hut on keeaumoku! Parking was easy. The decor is kind of like eating in a store since they have rows of shelves displaying Asian goods for sale. You can even buy some Cafe Du Monde coffee! There's 21 broths to choose from, an extensive list! I tried the cream peanut which sounds odd but had subtle peanut flavor and was tasty. The spicy beef was heavier on the lemongrass flavor but my favorite was the herb broth which reminded me of Chinese soup with goji berries. One thing I liked about this spot is the selection of vegetables, seafood, and noodles are buffet style so you aren't stuck with a large plate and can add a variety of everything. The sauce selection was small but tasty with daikon and green onion to add in. I see why some people think the variety isn't as good as other places because there's less selection but it was more than enough for me. I loaded up on bean curd, bok choy, shrimp, bean thread noodles, fish balls, tofu, kabocha pumpkin, and pork belly. You can also get rice and add egg to your soup. Service was good, they drop off a large pitcher of water on the table so you don't have to worry about requesting refills.

Paid $80 for a mediocre meal AND there was MOLD in our tapioca pudding. We had already left the area when we opened it up to eat.. My husband took a few bites too. Just makes me wonder about the rest of the food quality. And the prices on the physical menu did not reflect the price we got on our receipt. Never going back there again.

The ambiance was simple and nice. It was not crowded on this Saturday around 12:30 PM. We ordered the papaya salad, spring rolls, grilled pork chop and oxtail soup. (Sorry no picture of the soup). This was my first time eating here so I asked Heidi what are some of the popular dishes. She replied "everything is good". She explained some of the items on the menu as the pictures did not always match up with some of the things I asked about. Anyway lunch was fine. Papaya salad is one of my favorites and their salad is delicious. The spring rolls were average and the pork chops were tasty. My Auntie had the soup and she said it was good. I also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee and that tasted yummy. It was very strong! Initially Heidi seemed a bit "rough around the edges" but by the end of our meal she was smiling and friendly. There is a small mini section of food items and spices you can purchase. She even shared a tip of mixing half and half of two of the instant coffees that she sells. Of course I purchased them to enjoy at home.

First, the online address was wrong and our Uber dropped us off in the middle of nowhere. We called the “restaurant” twice and to get their address and unfortunately, our second Uber took us to that address. What we we found was a place that would like to be a restaurant but is not. The Chinese who run the place were cordial and trying to make the best of what was there but…There are supplies available on shelves and I think you could buy a 30 lb. Bag of rice, if desired. I do wish the operators well but at this point, it’s probably not what you’re looking for!
