This is definitely a good cheap eats near Waikiki located on the 2nd floor across the street from the Zippy's on Kapahulu Ave. I placed an order for a smoked pork plate for $10 and found the taste to be surprisingly good. The place has lots of seats as I have noticed that most customers were coming by to order take outs.

We had a phenomenal meal at Guava Smoked. We ordered a little of almost everything off of the menu. The pork was so delicious and the shirt ribs were bomb. Highly recommend trying them out.
Fantastic small place with Hawaiian cuisine. Bold use of guava as an ingredient, but it works pretty well. The pork is spectacular

Upstairs rear entry is not exactly what you would expect to go get great Hawaiian bbq but it's exactly what you'll find. It's the only restaurant on the top of this multi-restaurant building and you'll have to go to the back side of the building and go upstairs like you're buying drugs. Guava bar is excellent 👍

Excellent service and food! I was thrilled that they offered a mixed plate option because I wanted to try both the pork and the Kalbi. The food arrived quickly and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The Mac salad was delicious, I wish the portion was a little more, it was so good!
I thought I would love this place but the food left me disappointed. It wasn't bad, but if the counter people tell you that they are known for their pork, and you order the spicy pork, it should really taste good (and it is mediocre). The beef stew was better. Pasta salad uninspired. Good service, nice staff, fine atmosphere. It is a challenge to find the entrance

We have come here a couple years in a row now when we visit Oahu, and it is definitely one of our mainstays. The lady is very nice, and friendly, and the food is amazing, fresh, and flavorful. I would recommend it to anyone.
Got the Smoked Fried Rice. Was a ton more rice than meat, but the meat was great
Sooooo good. This is a simple, quintessential Oahu place with very friendly staff.
I've loved their smoked pork bowl for years and recently discovered their fried rice: Next Level!!!!!
