Small unassuming cafe away from the main tourist area. The food and service was fantastic. Comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel at home

I ordered Prime Rib Loco Moco and Ube Mascarpone Pancakes. The loco moco topped with a large piece of prime rib was delicious and filling, and the pancakes had an impressive appearance, but even before I could smell the mascarpone, I knew they were delicious.

Came here on a Friday noon for lunch with my family (including 2 little kids). It was pretty busy but we got lucky as there was an empty table that fit our group. We got the Prime Rib Loco Moco, Guieb’s Garlic Shrimp (with white rice and imitation crab salad), Crab Cake Eggs Benedict (with hash browns), Ube Mascarpone Pancakes, and Bacon and Eggs for the kids. The food was delicious and flavorful! The portions were quite large. My favorite was the pancakes… probably the best ube pancakes I’ve ever had and the sauce was fantastic!
The service was excellent! Staff were friendly and accommodating. The food came out super fast; we got our food within 10 minutes. The place is small and cozy. Parking lot was a decent size. The only downside is there’s no washroom. But it’s worth coming here because of the great food!
We had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back here!

Delicious food and great service in an obscure location. You'd think it would not be crowded, but no, the pull of amazing food overrides the distance to the restaurant.

Incredible local grindz with an at-home Diner feel and good portions. Some of the best chicken fried steak I've had in years! Highly recommended unless you're looking for something fancy. We were so hungry and it was so ono (delicious), that we completely forgot to take pics.

On a recent trip to Oahu we stopped here specifically for the ube and mascarpone pancakes that my fiancé desired. The pancakes were even better than imagined and surpassed all expectations (honestly I now want pancakes like this all the time). My Pilipino sausage was good along with it's rice and eggs. The staff served well and thought it's a small place it was a good atmosphere.

Went to a local spot that's been getting a lot of hype, and I was definitely underwhelmed. The wait was chaotic as people were constantly in and out trying to get a seat. When we finally got in, the waitress was not friendly, in fact, very rude. I must say the younger waitress and what looked like the head waitress was very nice, but she was just rude.
The best thing was the Oreo Cheesecake Pancake, according to my kids.
Overall, I would give it a 3. I could find a better breakfast for cheaper and no wait at many other places.

Don’t get the crab cake benedict. It’s made with imitation crab and overwhelms the entire dish with this sweet fake crab taste that makes the whole dish very off putting. The menu does not indicate that it was imitation crab either - very misleading. Probably should have known given the pricing but still…
Came in at 7am and we were the first ones there! I never order pancakes but had to try the ube pancakes and got a side of mango chicken sausage. My husband got the corned beef and hash. Everything was good! I got their coffee and it was just okay - wished the coffee was stronger but that's a personal preference. Parking was not a problem.
Pancakes - was very good. I'm glad they didn't drown the pancakes in the cream sauce so it wasn't soggy. It wasn't overly sweet either.
Chicken mango sausage - just get this. This was so good.
Corned beef and hash - my husband enjoyed it but I felt they skilled didn't give enough corned beef.
Customer service was attentive.
