Such a fun dinner experience!! Justin was our server and he was amazing! We went with the all you can eat option and as always, it didn't disappoint. Dishes came out consistently and everything was fresh and yummy. Always a treat for us outer island peeps!

Cook your own on the grill, unless you eat A LOT the buffet menu isn't worth it because they don't have the better meat options. They don't bring sides like Korean restaurants do unless you order it Ala carte. I had to flag down the waiter several times for more drinks and napkins etc. The food is good however for the price and inattentive service I would give them a C+ grade and pass.

Very good food and service. I would recommend the duck breast got the three meat choice lunch special. A great deal at 19 bucks. Large bowl of rice, miso soup and salad. Everything is high-quality and well worth the price. Highly recommend.

Came for a birthday dinner while on vacation. We went during happy hour so some appetizers and dishes were discounted. Food was yummy and served quickly! Dan our server was friendly and extremely accommodating! He honestly made our night! He was suggesting a bunch of places to check out in the area and made sure we have everything we needed at the table. I had to take out a star since I found the place filthy in some areas especially the restroom, hopefully they take immediate action to this problem.

Food & table service was good. Not completely satisfied with host seating us in the middle of the restaurant when we requested a quieter table. Seems like they don't read the specifics or they don't care.

Took my co-workers out to celebrate a birthday and the end of a hectic Holiday Season. As usual, Gyu-kaku did not disappoint! Food was great as usual and ALAYNA provided friendly & efficient service. She made the birthday boy feel special with a special dessert & we all had a great meal!! Definitely will keep coming back!!

We ordered the holiday set for 4 for $148. That food was excellent and it was a great variety. However the size of the table made it logistically challenging as the food was served pretty much all at once.

Sad that the kalihi gyukaku closed, but happy to have this one centrally located and easy to get to with validated parking. Gyukaku, just like you would find in with Japan with a ton of options from ala cart, set menu, and a ton of happy hour specials. Extensive drink menu also. One of our go to dinner places.

The food was good as usual as the service provide excellent provided by Rachel. The food came out quickly and the place was busy during Happy Hour. We look forward to going back again.

Got there on time, but after we placed our order, we were notified that certain items were not available that evening. So we placed another order for items not available. 20 mins later, we are told the replacement item was not available either... so we decided to just not order anymore food. After 2 Strikes, we didn't want chance it. The food was OK, taste was a bit off than we normally are use to. Garlic fried beef noodles were a bit under cooked and had no flavor to it, as well as the shrimp bibimbap and cold tofu. The place was packed for an early Sunday dinner so I guess the increase in customers may have contributed to the inconsistency of the food that night.
