Ha Long Pho Noodle House

We visited Ha Long Pho Noodle House (1414 Dillingham Blvd STE 101, Honolulu, HI 96817) on July 4, 2025, as a family, and our experience was extremely disappointing. We came to have lunch as a group of six, including children. The hostess informed us that there were no tables available for six and that they needed to prepare one, which is understandable. However, we were asked to wait outside in the parking lot, despite the hot weather and the presence of children. This was inconvenient and unpleasant.
After waiting for five minutes, we asked if we could wait inside, where, by the way, it was almost empty—only four customers in the dining area. But the hostess categorically refused and insisted that we continue waiting outside. This kind of treatment toward a family with children is absolutely unacceptable. We felt no hospitality or willingness to accommodate us.
In the end, we left because we didn’t want to tolerate such service. I do not recommend Ha Long Pho Noodle House if you value respectful treatment and comfort.

Food is always great.
Just the place is getting to look a little run down where I might not think it worth it anymore.

I love this place consistently good .
My personal favorite is lemon grass chicken with brown rice and come with a small side soup. My kids and mife love the pho .

Some of the best Pho I’ve had. Combination 1 was delicious - perfect amount and variety. Service was great, kind, and on occasion funny. Would also recommend their Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and Thai Tea.

My first time to eat here and very disappointed because the broth of the combination pho I ordered has no taste at all. Will not come back here. HIGHLY 👎 👎 👎 NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL! Regretted eating at this place.

This is one of my go to places for pho and banh mi sandwiches. Their seafood egg noodle soup is really good.

Never going back..
There was a long hair inside my pho.
The waitress was touching the hair….
Glass was super dirty and had lip marks everywhere.
They tried to give me new pho after I told them.
I am not gonna eat or waste my money here.

Very good pho. Lots of meat and fresh veggies. Got medium combination pho. Good value. Comfortable environment. Will be back.

My husband thought the pho was the best. I have a feeling if you put grass on a plate he would say the same thing. He eats my cooking, so I know his tastebuds are suspect. Having had Vietnamese food most of my life I had never had pho.

That being said, I would not order pho again from any Vietnamese restaurant. I prefer saimin and hot pot to pho. That being said, we will go back to try other menu items.

The food was good for the price. If you want pho in an old school dinner type experience, this is the place. Definitely a place for locals by locals. I live here but still got looks like I was a tourist. I will definitely go back to try other dishes and to get pho again.
